Waits for someone else to bring up mechanics, then introduces his idea.

What I will say is that I found Shadow's behaviour a little suspicious earlier in the day. D'riss made an argument about not reading too much into accusations of players being paired, which to my mind is a good one, and Shadow immediately jumped on him for discussing Inno mechanics. It just seemed like he was trying to force there to be a reason for attacking D'riss, which to my mind is a little scummy.
As for D'riss himself, he has definitely been pretty nebulous with some of his posts. And I can see someone hiding behind vagueness as a defence. I'm just trying to decide whether his general reaction to his situation fits with that of a scum. I tend to expect scum to be a lot more bothered when the votes start to mount a little (when they're in the 1/3 to 1/2 pf the required amount range) - go for the aggressive defence, that sort of thing. I haven't really seen any of that from D'riss.
I'm going to go with my instincts for the moment and put a vote on Shadow, because aside from the incident I've mentioned above I find his play to be somewhat odd. I need to mull over D'riss a little more and try and absorb the rest of the argument a little better (I've got a headache coming on, it's not going to be easy sad.gif), so this is by no means a final decision on my part.
Vote Shadow
EDIT: Crosspost with lots of people switching to D'riss.

A last minute Code?
If he was really a Paired Inno, he and his partner would've coded long before the last few hours of Day, if they had the slightest shred of intelligence. And neither of them would have done it in the goddamned open.
I was only about 50% he was scum before, now I'm convinced by this little gimmick. I'm also more convinced then ever about Meanas, Gamelon, and Galain being in the same camp. You all threw a fit and did your best to distract when three votes cropped up on D'riss, and you're suddenly jumping on and then off the train at the last second? No, nothing the least bit suspicious there.
While I agree that the code is fishy and not at all a good reason for the situation to change, I find the way you're throwing accusations around here a little dodgy too. It's day 1, people aren't especially convinced by the D'riss case. If something like this were to happen tomorrow, say, I think I'd be a bit more inclined to agree with your reasoning, but you have to expect uncertainty at this stage. It kind of feeds in to the unease I felt about you earlier.
EDIT: Crosspost with D'riss.

Vote D'riss
That feeling I get of him not liking the attention D'riss got is all, which isn't much at all. Silanah, you said you had made a case on Emurlahn, maybe you can point out what it was you saw, because I don't see it.
Here's at least some input, but he is fairly wishy/washy about it.

vote Serc
If Serc happens to be correct, it's even worse, right now I am hoping he was gunning for someone he thought was an easy target.
And here he comes! With an instant vote on Serc after Shadow and Silanah got the train started.

How can you, and therefore, others have a very good reason for the vote, and then not see it as an easy lynch? That's confusing.

you have reasons, Silanah has reasons, Shadow has reasons... how is it not an easy lynch?
whilst i'm not saying Serc's actions don't warrant any attention (I agree that his statement was a foolish thing to do, and it will probably get him lynched), I can't help but look at those people who draw the most attention to it, trying to set his lynch in stone for today, instead of putting some efort in looing elsewhere.
But then again, i'm already thinking you are scum, aren't I?
That would certain be a problem for you, especially since you are wrong. Secondly I don't mind looking elsewhere, and I am, but Serc is my choice at the moment.
Edit: wrong about me being scum, for clarification.
I haven't exactly seen him looking elsewhere. He voted on a case, confusedly defended it, and then bailed.
I just don't like the play-style. He only takes action after someone else has done so, making very sure someone else would get the attention for acting first. It's an attempt at not rocking the boat and fitting in. Something in the D'riss lynch stunk, and its my bet that Ampelas is the cause.
