Also, if you guys all claim you defintely have of the town in your role PMs, weird because I didn't have "of the" which means either PS screwed up for me or some of you aren't inno.

Too late to cover scum scum scum.

He's right, and your not.
Simple as.
Also, using mod PMs isn't against the rules, cus the trick can only be used once on thread. It's like claiming finder. Although usually I wouldn't use it, I felt compelled to agree with Liosan here. I'm not gonna let someone get lynched over this pedantic rubbish, when he is definatly inno.

I hereby state that I am a fool, and appologie to Liosan and the rest. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Lio is innocent. Tellan, pretended very well.

Read this. I ci'ed Liosan. So did Silanah. If I was scum, why would I CI an inno? Guess what, Tellan is scum. No more from me on that,

Everyone always disappoints me, especially myself :p

So are you willing to drop a vote on Ampelas?

I'm leaning more towards Korv or Serc atm myself. Serc because I don't think he's the noob he's trying to make out, and Korv because he's just been bothering me with his in-your-faceness.

vote Serc

Until he clears this up once and for all - Serc, are you claiming to be new to the game? In other words, what is the reason for your antics yesterday with the "reveal" incident?

EDIT to add - if Serc has already cleared this up and I've missed it somewhere, then fair enough.

Question for you: do you think that the things Serc and Korv have done are consistent with the strategy of a killer? Because I really can't imagine a killer coming out on thread and saying "I think that guy has a power role" like Serc, or getting involved in a Role PM discussion like Korv. I can see a symp doing either of those things, but not a killer.

I think it's possible, definitely. People make mistakes, it happens all the time. If Serc was scum he might see it as a nice way to get people to vote off an inno, but yes he could also be the symp as you say, signalling to his masters. But who is he symping? I honestly haven't picked that up from him.

Plus, I'm still unsure about Ruse with the symp thing (must... not... flog... horse).

Korv is topsy turvy and I can't decide if that's because he's inno and confusing himself or if it's because he's scum and decided to switch tactics to whatever he thinks will get team evil some inno lynches. He's coming up with some kind of case, apparently, so I'll wait to see what that turns out to be.

Yeah well. No time to play today. Honestly I am over the bs of Tellan anyway. I will remain tunnel visioned on him until he or I are dead. Thats all.

can we PLEASE at least TRY to look elsewhere beside the people that made such a mess of yesterday?
we are, in all likelyhood, dealing with at least two pairs of scum.

even IF (and that's a huge if), one of them got involved in that mess, there's still another, quieter one, who'd probably have the common sense to stay out of that fiasco.

Sorry Kess, I can't if you think i am a distraction, lynch me out of the way. But I won't vote anywhere nor look anywhere until Tellan is lynched.

The only difference between you and Tellan is that Tellan didn't go from "SCUM! SCUM! SCUM!" to "ERR NO INNO! INNO! INNO" for no reason I can picture, and I have imagination, believe me.

And the killers can CI all the innos if they want, they will always turn out to be right.

sigh
I feel lynching you is pointless.

if Tellan is roled inno, he'll get NK-ed in a few days.
if he doesn't, i'll be willing to vote him off.
right now, i'm wiling to risk letting him live and expand our possibilities. if there ARE two independent killers (as all evidence would suggest), getting tunnel-visioned is the last thing we want to do.

Are you talking to Korvalain? You say to lynch him is pointless, then proceed to explain why you don't want to lynch Tellan.

Fair enough, I said what I thought about this: Anomandaris.

And your argument is what? Even if there's scum in this story and we're right, it's pointless because there's possibly another scum team out there? Why you vote Ampelas, even if he's scum there's possibly another scum team out there? It's a strange argument.

Unless you really feel it can only be inno-mess, but it's so big I'm sorry but I doubt it.

I don't think scum would play the way serc and Korv played. I've said this a million times already--there is no gain for them in becoming so visible and making such blatantly obviously scummy moves.

I concede that Tellan MAY be scum, of the 3 people remaining from yesterday's clusterfuck, he's the one I'd vote, if we were dead set on voting off one of them. However, since the alternative is that Tellan is a power role, I would prefer to let the scum NK him, rather then waste a lynch on him.

So, I am looking at Ampelas, whom I believe to be a quiet, coasting killer.

Omtose, in response to your question...

Simply put here are some inno rules that are supposed to be followed, but in practice are not.

Nobody reveals noob because it gets you lynched.
Nobody votes night in town v scum because it gets you lynched.
Nobody outs potential roled innos because apparently it gets you lynched.

Sometimes, townies just make mistakes doing what they think is for the good of the town. Sixty has been lynched quickly several times (including this game) as townie, mostly due to standard day 1 misinterpretations. Doesn't make him a bad player at all, but townies make mistakes.

The logic was sound to me, BUT after a full day I can completely see what the fuss is all about. Look at the massive cluster that erupted over the 'rule' of 'role PMs' for examples of townie mistakes. Look at last game's town reactions to fake finder reveals, Gem's self-implosion, and so forth for townie mistakes.

Hell, look at all of the discussion in this game about Sil or Lio as scum for examples of mistakes.

edit: YES I'M TOWN GEEZ.

serc, no offence, but wtf kind of answer is that?
seriously, the way you say "townies" it's almost like you're not town yourself.

gah.

If you get me lynched I'm going to turn up inno and then they are going to have to lynch you to make sure, it's a waste of two more days. I'm here ready to play the game and move on from yesterday, I made a mistake, you've made a mistake. If you are that upset about it and can't focus past me, ask for a modkill so we don't waste the lynch, but the "I'm taking my toys and going home" play is beneath you.

Well, I've read through the posts... not caught up though because it was a real classic clusterfuck.

Here's the case I was building yesterday before that went down:

P. 1
Sorry this took so long. Dinner popped up right after I started writing this.

I am suspicious of Ampelas, and here's why.

It's depressing that the case on D'riss is the best so far, I want day 1 to end, it's a nightmare.<insert general swearing and bitching> That's mafia for you. WIFOM galore, and it fits with the theme.

Beside the case on D'riss, I think the case on Mockra is noteworthy. I so hate day 1 of mafia.

vote D'riss

Probably cross post, so I have to read up again.

This vote starts the train on D'riss, and others rapidly follow.

Seems like I'm going to be speed-lynched by 5-6 people who don't agree with my case several hours prior to the deadline. Hooray for sheeple!

Just so my vote isn't wasted...

Vote Ampelas

for being the first one of the group to come to mind (in part because I mentioned you earlier).

You're a funny guy. If I didn't agree with your case, I wouldn't put my vote on you. If there was a less depressing case, I'd go with that, but since I can't find any, and nobody else can either, you are the best option.

Edit: FUCKING cross post!

Doesn't like the case, but votes for it anyway. Understandable, actually.

We need to get this code thing sorted out.

Second person to remove vote in the derailment.

Silanah starts the relynching.

I said I wasn't going to get played. If he really had something to reveal, I'd say he would have told us by now.

Ampelas is the second one in, again.

Ampelas: IMO the most obvious 'cruiser' of the bunch. Wanted info on the code most vehemently. To prove innocence for D'riss? Or to get more info on D'riss possible role?

Meh, my mind is tired so I'm sorry this is a little weak. Looking forward to reading some better ideas.

Of course I wanted to give D'riss a chance to reveal. His code wasn't much in the first place, so obviously pressuring him was the right choice.

Not a whole lot there.
