I gotta say, if anyone is scum in this discussion I would go for Shadow. Partially to do with something he said about the PMs, but I am not going to mention that or take that against him. More, he has played it more like scum than either Korv or Tellan because he is the only one of the three who didn't stick their neck out so much and felt most like the one who jumped on the train rather than starting it like Tellan or Korv.

Huh?

If by "didn't stick my neck out" you mean "desperately tried to avoiding providing the scum with info," then yeah. It was hard to be discrete about my intentions during that argument, but Korv finally came out and said "Finder" as I was trying to avoid.

And I could hardly start the train, it was already there - I jumped off the one I'd already started, which is starting to look pretty good again. Especially as Serc has completely disappeared, probably to avoid sticking his foot in his mouth.

I just feel Emur is blending in, bar a case on Shadow and a rambling non-case on Silanah, he has been very middle of the road, oh and disapproving of the PM talk. This kind of blending in is what I would rather expect of a killer, not standing out, and posting enough not to be called out for lack of content.

Meh, I've been calling it like I see it, but unfortunately I was not feeling too great last night, so that manifests as confused and unconfrontational.

A likely story.

So who do you suspect now then Emur? Assuming you don't feel too tired or in pain at the moment?

From Day 1, I felt Shadow, Ruse and Ampelas seemed a little scummy in their playstyles, but whenever I look back over their posts I don't see what it was that made me think that. Very frustrating.

One thing that did stand out to me, and perhaps warrants further investigation, is the speculation about Kessobahn being framed by the killers that popped up for a while early on Day 2. The connection between Kesso, Meanas and Telas was tenuous at best, and thus it seemed very strange that it was brought up at all. Reading that much into the NKs seems rather self-defeating and to be honest the only reason I can see it being done is if someone had prior knowledge of how that line of thinking had gone. Taking a look back, I notice that Anomandaris was the instigator here (see below), which makes me somewhat suspicious of him:

Anomandaris, on May 6 2009, 02:39 PM, said:

Meanas and Telas? One thought occurs. Yesterday Kessobahn was linking Meanas and Telas, after their rhyming fest, and they both turn up dead. Now I know it being a TMDI 2, there might not be two killers, but it's a big coincidence. And by that I don't mean that Kesso is a killer (nor that he isn't…). Tbh I don't know what it means, if anything. Could it be an attempt to incriminate him? Perhaps the killer and vig just hate rhymes *shrug*. I didn't like Kesso's description of the case on Sil either btw. But I guess it could be him being a smart alec. I don't think my brain is working.

The other thing about the Telas kill's is it that both 'caught' Sil lurking. *WIFOM alert* so if there are two killers they could be clearing opposition or trying to point the finger of suspicion at innos…which leaves me back where I started.

Edit: Cross post :p makes me look stupid.

Although you could argue that Gamelon was actually the one who first started looking at the NK results and tried to assign some kind of meaning to them...

I'll do that tomorrow. Right now I'm off to read some Bakker. Judging Eye for the win.

Oh fer fkcs sake people! I feel like I wasted 20 minutes of my life slogging my way through that roundabout. I have to disappear for about 45 minutes, but then I'm going to come back and try to make sense of all that grabassing. The trains of thought got so convoluted, I'm not liking my chances though.

Back in a bit, hopefully with clear vision in place.

Oh, have fun.

I'm still suspicious to a degree of Liosan, especially his most recent few posts, where he's just sort of saying, "OK, everyone else tell me what they think." His passivity continues to annoy.

Yeah, that whole sequence was interesting to say the least.

Honestly the stuff that Sil and Liosan were spouting sounded familiar enough but the words town and inno had already come up multiple times earlier in the thread. It wouldn't be too much of a leap to guess that a pm says "of the town." I'm tempted to believe them inno for now, but certainly worth watching.

Now one thing I had noticed when I was looking over Galain's posts was that 1/4 (about 10) posts dealt with Sil or brought Sil up as a target. To me it seemed like s/he was trying to push a lynch but what was strange is that no vote was cast today. I'd expect someone that outspoken against Sil to be voting for Sil, but no. Not sure if this is middle of th roading scum behavior trying to start a lynch but looking for other train options, or just tunnel-vision inno.

One thing I found interesting:

Silanah went from being suspicious to having everyone hang on her every word. Some people are still mouthing token suspicion, but for the most part everyone who was on at the time was listening and to some extent deferring to her opinions. (myself included) That's either sparkling inno coming through, or truly brilliant play.

I'm not really granted with the clear vision I'd hoped. That whole Gamelon trap/Liosan symp Tellan vague explanation Korv drunk experiment Sil gobblety gook doesn't do anything for me at all.

Diving back in to look again.

Ok, just a start. More to come, I promise.

Shadow, why did you use several posts to dance around this issue? Maybe it was obvious. If it wasn't, true or not, this MADE it obvious. What was your purpose here?

No, go back further - Tellan makes mention of Liosan a while earlier.

I think he was building up and looking for an excuse to vote, without being too obvious about what he was revealing in the process.

I'm really dancing around a certain word here, I hope you know what it is - again, it's up to Tellan to make that claim. I don't want to do it for him. And if he's a faking Symp, he'll just come up as Inno anyways.

Of course, he's gone awfully quiet the past little while ...

Ok, just looking at Liosan's post list you see "and about emur" "hey emur" "what about emur" FOUR POSTS IN A ROW. Rather lame play any way you slice it.

I'm going to go back and look at some other posters stuff out of sequence to see if that changes anything. Before that however, I wont be back on for about 3 hours.

After someone yesterday (Rashan?) told me I was tunnel-visioned on Silanah, I recognized there was some truth to it, and since there was tons of time left in the day I took a little break.

I'm back, fresh-minded, and will catch up - many pages, something must have happened.

I will do an offical vote count soon, but I'd like to point out there are 5 hours and 10 minutes remaining.

Also I am extremely disappointed people have been using their Role PM as they have, and the way the game has gone from it. Unfortunately it has happened during a Modless period and there was no one around to stop it.
I'm going to hold off Mod killing people for now because the list is to long and it would ruin the game more than it already has. However I don't want to see it happen again, if it does I will stop the game. Its worse because its coming from people who should know better.

Secondly I typed the role PM's hastily in a 20 minutes lunch break, I'm sure there are variations on lots of things, they were not intended to be used as evidence and nor should they be.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Trying to get him to either claim and go for Healer protection, or fake Reveal and be proven wrong.

A great deal of his wording earlier on led me to believe that he held a Role that he ultimately made clear he didn't. It wasn't a position I was glad to be in, but it was sort of forced out into the open by the discussion about Role PMs and Korvalain.

It put him at risk, but if it had been true, we would have wound up with a dead scum (possibly a Killer, in Liosan) one way or another.
