What's the word on 3 Iron (Korean) and Layer Cake (British)?
God of Gamblers starring Chow Yun Fat and Andy Lau is really good. It's my favorite movie directed by Johnny To (So Close, Fulltime Killer...) and my second favorite Chow movie (Crouching is my favorite, The Killer and Hard Boiled are my next two...)
Also, saw a bunch more Korean movies....Spirit of Jeet Kun Do, Sympathy for Mr. Vengence (same director as Oldboy), Arahan (martial arts), Fighter in the wind (martial arts), My Boss My Hero and My Sassy Girl. All kind of cool. Still a few Korean movies I want to check out like TaeGukki (aka Brotherhood of War), Kick the Moon and Joint Security Area.

Hero's a good moive.
I want to see Sin City. But it's rated 18A here in Canada.
Saw Sahara on the weekend. It was all right. Comic relief didn't die. Hurrah.

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Saw solaris yesterday. Boy what a cheese movie.
The main woman in Batman is Katie Holmes. I hope she gets ignored as well because she is seriously irritating.
I watched Inferno with Jean Claude Van Damme last night. Absolutely terrible movie. I recommend it

I watched Battlefield Earth last night. Mainly just because it was on. It is sooooo bad! I laughed a lot. Has anyone else seen it? Human's go from being basically prehistoric technology levels to flying fighter jets within a couple of days. It left me feeling bewildered at such rubbish.

saw Kingdom of Heaven at 10.30am yesterday to avoid the crowds. It's well made and Bloom is pretty good in the role IMO despite the all the nancyboy criticism he's shipped. It's biggest problem is the storyline. Not very aresting . There are some good setpieces however. Liam Neeson is good value and so is the big German guy.

Watched a I Heart Huckabees and Garden State double bill. I'd already seen GS before but figured since i paid for it, i might as well stick around.
Huckabees was sometimes funny (mostly due to mark wahlberg) and mostly blah. And the ending of GS pissed me off just as much as it did the first time.
BTW, they are casting for a movie adaption of Ender's Game (directed by Wolfgang Peterson).

One of the rare occasions that me and the missus are both looking forward to the same film.
Course, I'm dying to see a couple of hours of Batman kicking arse, moodily, while she just likes Bale in rubber.

I saw Batman Wednesday night. Wicked stuff. They've got him a little darker than Burton dared. I've got a few quibbles with it - how does a two ton car go across roofs, why do we need Katie Holmes, etc. But Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Gordon, and then Liam Neeson...brilliant casting. And Morgan Freeman obviously had a blast as Q..or er Lucius Fox. Also enjoyed the fact that we didn't just have one villian, that the conspiracy just went deeper and deeper.

I only ever liked one episode out of all the ones I ever saw (Hello, Dave?)... so I won't be going to see it at the cinema.
Not very funny, really...

Watched team america yesterday. What a piece of crap, the only good part was when they first came out of mount rushmore (America F*** Yeah) other than that it was just crap, but then it was from the makers of south park so I didn't have the highest expectations.
I also watched the two matrix sequels again, they seem to have got a fair bit better after not watching them for a year or so, still not as good as the first but not bad films.

I saw that the other night too
I wouldn't really recommend it unless you know what you're in for - a brainless but fun couple of hours. Swashbuckling action all the way, but very little in terms of plot or believability!
Haven't read the book so don't know how it compares.

Saw Batman last night. Freakin brilliant!! I can't think of anything bad to say about it... apart from Mr PigDog had had a few too many glasses of wine before we went in and fell asleep before the trailers were finished! The Scarecrow scared the beejesus out of me whenever he put his mask on!

@cruz, you didn't even enjoy the puking scene? =P
I think maybe if the matricies (whatever) had all been one movie it would have been much better.
