The wrestler is good.

I just saw Rock and Rolla which is a kind of strange london gangster((gay)(you will understand)), movie, very strange and kinda reminded me of pulp fiction. Not that it is nearly as good of course. But worth seeing

I saw The Wrestler yesterday. It was really good but not as great as I anticipated. It was like a more tragic Rocky, without the uplifting montage! The first half where they show all the wrestling guys planning their moves together was really funny.

However, the best thing was that I was tired after a long day mooching about and I was almost nodding off during the usual bland ass trailers. Then! A trailer for Wolverine came on, swiftly followed by Terminator: Salvation. Oh my god! Wolverine looks really OTT entertaining (Hugh must be on steroids!). Terminator looked bloody brilliant!! Like REALLY bloody brilliant. The machine's look great, the music was great, the plot looks interesting. I nearly wet myself, it looked so exciting. Can't wait.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead - pretty shitty, could've gone my whole life without seeing it.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Saw Yes Man the other day. I thought it was hilarious. Jim Carrey definitely delivered in this.

Watched WALTZ WITH BASHIR this weekend.
Very surreal. liked it allot.
An antiwar statement, which makes what is going on in the Gaza Strip all the more reason to see the film as it reminds us that a nation's leaders do not speak for, or act on behalf of, its people in all instances.

I really enjoyed the Wrestler, I saw it this past weekend...it's an actor's movie, there's nothing particularly "hollywood" about it. My mom didn't like the ending but I thought it was very fitting.

I also saw Frost-Nixon, which was a lot better than I thought it would be. I went in with no expectations at all and came out thinking that Frank Langella is gonna give Mickey Rourke a run for his money for the best actor Oscar. Of course, Sean Penn could win too...this has been a good year for actors, :respect:

Now I'm gunning to see Revolutionary Road, just cos I love Kate Winslet. Ooh, and I'm seeing Slumdog Millionaire tonight too. Yes, I love movies.

Wrestler rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I watched Pride and Glory, a cop movie with Ed Norton and Colin Farrell. Decent, I guess. Standard cop-movie fare - one is dirty, the other is not. They have a showdown. Good guy wins.

Actually, it says a lot that I watched the whole movie - I'm a big fan of stopping shitty movies in their tracks.

I'm looking at you Indiana Jones, Babylon AD, Prom Night...Max Payne

Just watched Liam Neeson's "Taken."

It's fucking awesome. Basically 1.5 hours of Liam Neeson doing his best Jason Bourne and fucking people up. Wicked revenge flick.

I watched Taken earlier today. It was a nice little action flick. A quick 90 minutes.

It takes all of about 15 minutes for Liam Neeson's daughter to get kidnapped. Then there's about 70 minutes of Liam Neeson kicking the shit out of anybody who gets in his way. Then 5 minutes of resolution. Seriously.

Oh, look, here I am unarmed and surrounded by a 8 armed-to-the-teeth Albanians. Good thing I used to be a 'preventer' for the government and have the training it takes to kill gangs of gun-toting thugs without sustaining any real injuries.

Still, I enjoyed it. A fun way to spend an hour and a half.

I saw "Stardust" last night. I know Illy hates it but I really loved it. Rober De Niro had me laughing my head off.
