I'm rewatching Spawn right now.

I didn't exactly remember the film as being a masterpiece, but god damn this is a cheesy superhero movie. It looks more like a TV-pilot than a movie ment for the cinema. The acting is tv-drama'ish, the effects are like something out of the mask and none of the appeal of the comicbooks is left.

I didn't even remember Michael J White playing Spawn. And Martin Sheen is making a disgrace out of himself as the bearded bad guy working for the devil.

EDIT: Ohh, he just got the costume... now I remember why the film was so awesome.

that movie is old as shit...

you have to give it credit, its pretty bad ass for being older then Lokiman

Indeed, it's 10 years old... but it's painfull to look at the CGI in this day and age.

The Clown was awesome though.

I watched The Fountain at the weekend. I knew it was total tripe when I rented it, and must admit it was just an opportunity for a good perving session. However, I found myself astounded by how shit it really is! They reached new levels.

Without spoiling it for anyone who is foolish enough to watch it, I think I can safely say that there are three storylines:
1. A modern husband and wife trying to come to terms with the wifes terminal cancer
2. A Spanish conquistador in the Mayan Kingdom searching for the tree of life
3. A goddamn tai-chi space monk travelling to a dying star in a bubble with a tree

So clearly it's a film about coming to terms with mortality, but damn it didn't need the space monk! Just don't do it, unless you want to see Hugh looking beautiful. In which case, watch it with the sound down!

It's shot really well and they create an interesting atmosphere for the movie. They just don't fill that atmosphere with anything good!

Seen it, ees goot. :D

Watched This Is England yesterday, was expecting much more violence if Im honest. I mean, a film about violent skinheads set on a northern council estate during a time when strikes, riots and the National Front were commonplace, and only one person's face smashed in? Good film though, I must say. And Woody's gf was teh hawt.

This is England is awesome. It reminds me of my childhood growing up in the North. :D

And I can't wait to see The Beast with a Billion Backs which I believe is the title to the new Futurama DVD... Especially if it is as good as Bender's Big Score. Seriously, Groening et al. should have put more work into Futurama, for it is way better than the Simpsons...

One word for BWABB:
Spoiler

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
