$12 dollars a year? Man, cinema tickets must be expensive whereever you are...

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Melbourne, Australia mate. And, mehh, I don't go to too many movies a year...$12 is also 4 pots of beer.

I was thinking that given there's only really a Bond film every two years you'd be paying $24 per film...I pay £4...not sure what the exchange rate is though.

I'm currently very annoyed because neither The Departed nor The Prestige are still showing in Aberdeen cinemas. They've been booted out for Santa Clause 3 and Tenacious D. What is the world coming to?

It's been a sad autumn for movies for me. I've only seen 2 flicks in theaters since summer.

The Prestige and Bond.

I go to a film just about every week during the summer but nothing has really caught my eye this fall.

If a tree falls in the woods and a deaf person saw it, does it make a sound?

Eragon was the shittiest piece of shit I have ever seen.

I told you all, I forsaw it. The movie was so bad it made my eyes bleed.

What a waste of 12$

hah!
considering the book wasn't exactly brilliant, I'm not surprised. i mean, no matter how much talent you've got working on the film, if the book/material is absolute crap, there is not a lot you can do with it.

There must be an example of a terrible book being turned into an excellent film somewhere...although I can't think of one off the top of my head. Lord of the Rings? ;)

The ads looked rubbish. Never read the books, and quite possible only will if forced to at gunpoint. So, in effect, not at all surprised.

Meh :p

So I finally got around to seeing 'Doom' - it was bloody awesome! :D How could you not love it? Man, who knew boys like that could be found in New Zealand...I should have been on high alert when I was over there at the beginning of the year. Karl Urban has a new groupie :D

would have liked a little more explosions and some more gore but hey, it's all good! :D

And the best part of all is that my favourite character DID NOT DIE!!!!!! It's a first and I'm pleased, not only did he NOT die but he became superhuman too!!! Chee! :D

I was trapped in Stevenage with 8 hours to kill on Wednesday. Naturally I went to the cinema. The only options at 2pm were kids films or Deja-Vu, the new Denzel film. Denzel it was. The only thing that kept me awake was that is was so ridiculous and confusing that it became intriguing. A very large waste of money but at least I had a comfy seat for a few hours!

You were in STEVANAGE!?!?!?!?

You poor, poor thing, here, have a blanket and a mug of warm cocoa, stay away from that hell-hole from now on....

I once spent 3 hours or so waiting for a train in Stevenage back towards Kings Cross late at night, wasnt fun....

Watched the Chronicles of Riddik again last night – I forgot how great that movie was! Seriously under-rated movie. The end gives me shivers every time! What’s goin on with the sequel? They cant just leave it like that can they?
