I watched The House With the Clock In Its Walls at my aunt's house. Pretty cute. I thought it was gonna be YA but it's borderline more a straight up 'kids movie', so like I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to other adults to watch for themselves. It's not boring, so if you're a parent you should be entertained. It's like Diary of A Wimpy Kid-level, but with magic.

Aquaman was glorious. It was the kind of big daffy stupid fun that films like Valerien (though that was pretty good apart from the miscast leads) and Jupiter Ascending wanted to be, except underwater instead of in space.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

I don't get this.
I vacillated between nearly falling asleep and wanting to just get up and go home for nearly all 17 hours of the movie.

Indeed. I think the fact that it has 4 acts instead of 3 is the only thing that threw me a bit, but otherwise...what fun!
And I was emotional at least twice. Never been emotional at aDC film before.
And the PG / QT Double Stamp of approval on a movie...rare!

Definitely plan to watch part of Aquaman in 2022 when I'm at a family member's house and they have the TV stuck on like the TNT network all day or whatever.

So after the previous discussions we're currently watching through LOTR extended editions on Blu-ray. Man these films have aged spectacularly. Still just as astonishing as when I first saw them in the cinema...

Apparently some guy online fixed all the wonky color on the FotR extended blu ray: https://originaltril...id/61952/page/1

This is not a factor in the Canadian boxed set of the EEs, the FOTR cut on mine is perfection. I’m unsure why it’s an issue on some. Perhaps it was the single disc editions?

Too fucking right.
I was particularly impressed with the way Wan turned the insufferable bro-oaf that Snyder created into a likeable and relatable character without changing a thing about him but just changing the perspective of his presentation a little.
I hope wherever they go next with the Superman movies has this kind of lunacy. For me the DC universe- in comics as well- is almost always at its best when it's being ludicrous.

Likewise. I'll most likely see it when it airs on channel 4 on a Sunday evening about 2 yrs from now. And even then I'll probably stick a game on instead.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Huge! I noticed the darkness and green tint when I was doing my marathon last weekend. It really bothered me.
Where's the download link?

Reading through the comments, I believe you have to PM the creator and prove you own the EE blu rays, because it's a site that doesn't promote piracy.

Hmm I didn't notice a green tint maybe they fixed it in later versions?

Unfortunately, they did not. It's present in the extended edition Blu-rays (but, I think, not the theatrical cut Blu-rays).

If I show them a screenshot of my The.Lord.Of.The.Rings.The.Fellowship.Of.The.Ring.2001.Extended.Cut.BluRay.1080p.DTS-HD.MA.6.1.AVC.REMUX-FraMeSToR.mkv, will that be enough?
