Why? If your recruits are dying or failing I would expect the recruiter to hide low, if they are succeeding, I would expect him to play out in the open, probably also be somewhat aggressive.

I disagree. I think the cult master would just go with the flow and do his best not to arouse suspicion, since he just keeps getting recruits to do his dirty work every night.

Due to some of the reveals that have gone down, and my own full set of powers, I suspect Cam have a current lynch majority. Also Fener, you forget our own friends can't kill me tonight, because we're all in this together. Baali can't kill me tonight, because I have Possession immunity. Sabbat don't have a killer, otherwise there'd almost surely be more kills going on. Therefore, we should have this in the bag.
