In case anyone's reading this - someone want to PM me the SH password? I just wiped my hard-drive for a fresh-reinstall, and lost a few little things here and there that I forgot to backup, including Firefox-saved passwords.
I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Yeah, no one should be forced to RP in a game. That's just cheap on the part of the Mods.

I can be in, but I was hoping to comod a couple of the upcoming games to put the manager through its paces, since I dont wanna have to ask for a modkill every time someone needs tech support for teething troubles. Though seeing as how Sixty is modding (you'll get the code later today, forgot to sent it last night) that shouldn't be a problem.

What's the difference between a "Mini" and a "Regular?" Player size or play time?

For some reason, I think it's time... but that could be a function of player size... circles are fun.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Technically they're supposed to be low TMDI with about 12 players, that should last about a week. At least that's the impression I've always had. Although there have been many execeptions to that rule...

TMDI levels... seem to have had no impact on the length of games, lately. However, that could just be an outside view of a game and inner-spamming making it seem longer than it was.

It depends on the game itself really. The length of the game normally depends on a combination the number of players, length of days and attrition rates. Minis tend to have less people and shorter days, so they normally dont last as long, but there have been high TMDI games where people dropped like flies. TMDI normally just lets you know how much of a chance you have of actually figuring out what is going on.

If you want to co-mod to think stuff through and squeeze the manager, you're more than welcome, as well, alt :)

I think I will play for now, since sixty should be able to handle anything that goes wrong with the manager (if you use it :p). He will have the code and I can send him the info for the site admin. Hehe, he could probably do a better job sorting out the isues than I could. If someone wants in after all the spots are taken I will help mod.
