It is still not known who the villian is going to be, but it is known that Mickey Rourke will be one of them.
Playing a russian, so that could be the Crimson Dynamo there is another russian villian that escapes me right now wich he could also be.

I also know that they will not be doing the "Demon in a Bottle" storyline. The arc that deals with Tony Stark's alcoholism.
reports indicate that the forthcoming sequel will not tackle this subject matter, although Favreau and Downey suggest "Demon" could be fodder for later installments.

Recent Downy Quote:

Quote

“We’re going for the interim space [between the origin and “Demon”] which is more a look behind the mask of someone who says he’s Iron Man and what it really is to become a superhero.”

So...thats all for now folks :unworthy:
...┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐...

Why dont they make the whole plane out of that black box stuff?

I absolutely loved the first movie, here's hoping the second will continue the trend!

Any word yet on what's happening with the other superheros involved in the Avengers?
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

Here’s the Marvel movie release schedule for its comic book adaptations:

* Iron Man 2 - May 7, 2010
* Spider-Man 4 - May 6, 2011
* Thor - June 17, 2011
* The First Avenger: Captain America - July 22, 2011
* The Avengers - May 4, 2012

I've also heard there's supposed to be an Ant Man film in the works along with another X-men Origins film, starring Magneto (now that's a film I want to see)

One day they'll make a Dr Doom film and Apt will swoon.

Another spider man movie?! whyyyyyyyyyyy????
Everything else im excited for, the first Ironman was very excellent. Lets hope it goes the way of the godfather and gets better rather than the more recent way with sequels and good movies.

They have to make a new spiderman as an appology for that trainwreck that was Spiderman 3.

Preferably with somebody else than Topher Grace or what ever the spiderman actors name was...

Topher Grace played Venom, I think. Tobey Maguire plays Spiderman. I think his best performance, by far, is in Tropic Thunder :unworthy:

Very excited about IRONMAN 2. Downey is a bad ass.

Spiderman 4 better have Toby Maguire dying in the first 2 seconds of the film or I'll walk out.

So who SHOULD play spidey? Any thoughts?

Jon Favreua has agreed to be a producer on all these tie-in avenger films, he has also been asked to direct avengers and i believe he is probably going to do it. This is good, they can keep all the films in the same "world" and have it all have the similar feeling so they can all come together seamlessly....i hope.

Hope and Hollywood are like positive and negative magnetism.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I heard there was a Silver Surfer movie in the works? Is this not true? I'm skeptical they could pull it off w/o fucking it up though :p

For a wide audience there isn't much of a basis for a big movie. His story is part alien love and some weird demon stealing said love and then him being a Herald of Galactus.

Considering how poorly they handled the whole Galactus and Herald thing in FF2, I doubt it's viable. I am still angry they made a Galactus movie and then didn't actually use the original story. IT STILL WORKS DAMMIT!
