Bah, both Mezla and STD has kicked my ass.
I don't get this game. Why do I only get a shield while others have both knives AND axes AND double punch techniques? My brute just has encreased strength. What's the point of punching hard when your opponent is brandishing an axe!?

My littlte hairy dude just got trashed by Obdigore. And for what its worth you get a weapons bonus after you hit level 3. @ level 10 we can make a Clan and fight together I guess. So first one to level 10 make a Clan and call it Malazan Something something,. and we can all join.

I'm confused as to how this works, it won't let me pick a fight cos i'm "resting", yet 7 fools have fought me since yesterday!?! ( only 1 of them won by the way )

Seems Sir Thursday is weak, although Ublala Pung packs a punch, you should try him out for size (pun intended
).To fight specific brutes, you go to the Arena screen and then search for their name. Then their little icon appears and you click on it to fight them.
I did encounter one guy who had some kind of familiar, and didn't even manage to land a blow - he set his dog on me and it killed me without me being able to do anything about it. That was the definition of one-sided. Hope I get one of those...seems like the powerups are random. I wish there was someway you could force your character to use its weapons in a specific order - I've got one weapon that does twice as much damage as the other, but he still uses the weaker one first sometimes...

Go to arena and where it says search beneath the random brutes, type in the name of who you want to fight.
