Well bitching sometimes has it's merits. I noticed my recipient had not received their package by Friday or at least I'm assuming they didn't as they have yet to say anything and I know they would. In any case I paid $25.00 for 3-5 day shipping which clearly didn't happen, this is not the first time I have had screw ups with Canadapost and I was really pissed, so rather than thinking stupid post and leaving it, I called them up. It turns out they have indeed dropped the ball and my package was guaranteed and should have been on my recipients doorstep by Thursday at the latest, so I have been given a full refund! Not bad as I wasn't expecting them to give me anything. Sadly my recipient is still short a gift, however they have assured me it should be there in the next few days as it is alraedy in the destination country.

Got my package from TB today. Sorry Z no fish or hats.
Gotta cool little keychain that says Canada Eh? Gotta decide what to do with it. And another that has my name on it. Not SlowBen, that would be hard to find.
And some Moose droppings, although i'm kinda disappointed in them, they taste like chocolate covered almonds.
All great stuff TB, thanks.

LOL! No problem SB, the keychain with your name on it is actually a mini personalized manitoba license plate! It took me forever to get it! Not only does the other key chain say Canada eh on it, but it's attached to an igloo. Cause we all know that we live in igloos up here in Canadaland!
And yes although it says Moose Droopings on the package they are actually chocolate covered almonds! You didnt rally expect me to send moose poop across the border! Imagine the poor people in customs! Enjoy!

As SB is my friend though I went with the funny and delicious alternative!

And they would have been much appreciated.

Got it today. Lets see.
Weird little homemade key-chain thing made from a bag of chips(?). Check (I love this by the way.)
Corrona bottle opener key holder thing. Check (Very cool)
Slightly used flask. Check (I always wanted a flask!)
Places to visit in Norther n Ireland booklet. Check. (Useful when I visit you Maccy!)
Book by Bernard Cornwell called Sharpe's Gold. Check. (No idea about why, but I will read it and find out)
Emergency Poncho. Check (This is funny, really really funny.)
CD-rom game.Check. (Looks need, hope theres instructions(?)
Liverpool key-chain.Check. (Meh, manchesters better, kidding!)
Cool little light up pen. Check. (The wife claimed this as I pulled it out of the envelope.)
And my favorite. This isn't sarcasm, I swear I saw this and realized I am in love with Macros.
A guinness can that has been flattend, cut into a square, and has glittery sprinkles in a circle around the word Guiness. Check and Check.
Thats the greatest thing ever. Now an announcement. I got a letter in the mail telling me to come to the post office, today. I went by there and my package has been stamped - RETURN TO SENDER. No idea why. I'll try sending it again tomorrow. If it doesn't work again, I'll have to try UPS or FEDEX or something. So to my person. Sorry, don't know whats up with that, but I swear I havent forgot you!
PS - Macros. Youre the best.

Regarding the guiness can.
The plan was, I cut out a map of ireland, set it on the can, then a bit of pva glue and sprinkle the green stuff, remove map, hey presto! a outline of ireland.
Problems included (but not limited to) pva can not sealed properly, slightly gloopy and therefore lumpy, lack of brush so a q tip was used, not ideal. Drunken impatience.
actually the latter was the key problem, I feared it would dry and when i removed the map the green would come away as well, had I been thinking, I would have more carefully applied the glue, removed the map THEN sprinkled the green stuff.
Silly me.
But glad you aprreciated the messy result
ETA:
Game? isn't it a DVD?
did I put wrong disc case in envelope?

Oh yeah, I put kingdoms in because its a fun game to waste a few hours (just a medieval/fantasy version of TA) and I've played it to death several times.
But that DVD my good man, is pure gold.
