Is there a level cap in Oblivion like in Fallout 3?

Another question, anyone used or using any specific mods when playing Oblivion. I looked at a forum and more than a few claimed that installing various mods was nearly essential as it would greatly encrease the joy of playing the game.

I've now been looking in to it and I've found several packages and lists of mods that I want to install, I'm just worried if there'll be negative effects on the "original content".

Apt with mods and oblivion, some of the bigger (overhaul) mods makes the game a bit more realistic as in, enemys don't level with you so can't finsh the game at level three, which is very possible. Also you get more monsters, items and spells which make it woth while to do.

Unless you use too many there isn't really any negative effects on the original game, just makes it more of a challenge. Just be careful as a lot of mods don't work well with others and chould lead to the game crashing.

I allways thought that Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul was one of the better ones, but it just comes down to how you want to play the game.

One more thing if you have the Shivering Isles addon you need the leastest patch (v 1.2.0416 i think) or else the game stops working after 50 hours or so.

Hope all that helps.

And I want to state that Ment has out-weaseled me by far in this game.

Don't see any mention in this thread of Fallen Earth, which is a mmorpg with fps combat - currently in closed beta.

My friend had been really looking forward to Star Wars, so I made him give me it when he was finished.

It was fun, worth a rent definitely. The campaign is short and there is little in the way of replayability unless you are trying to collect everything for achievements. Also the boss fights on the higher dificulties are absurbly hard, it was a turn off for me. I beat it (of course on the hardest available difficulty) but it wasn't as fun as it could have been.

Just Star Wars? Could you elaborate?

Is it a strategy game? RPG? First person shooter? What platform are you playing on?

EDIT: Just checked twice and I think STalker was referring to Slow Bens mention of the game Force Unleashed. I am guessing that's a Star Wars game.

yes Apt, you are correct.

it is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
I was giving SB the info, but could have been a bit more clear.

I think it is a 360/ PS3 game, and is an action type of game. You run around using your lightsaber and flinging combos around and using force lighting and stuff.

Is it like the old Jedi Knight: Outcast games? I looooved the second one. You could force-choke the imperial soldiers, lift them off the ground and then slam them into stuff or hurl them off ledges.

You can play one level as Darth Vadar, who has force choke, but his apprentice (you play as him: Starkiller) has a different set of skills. You can still pick up objects and people and throw them anywhere you want though. Which is cool.

Check out Depths of Peril, it's a Diablo clone with a twist, it's also a sort of strategy game. There are 5 different faction you can be leader of, you can win the game by completeing the main story or defeating the other factions.

ooh, ooh ooh.

for vampire the masquerade, go get the unoffcial patch/update thing. it lets you have access to quite a features that the game makers put in the game but never had the chance of implementing, such as character history, etc.
