I like the colour version better :p

And may I say that this is your best so far? Fitting colours, well done hair and features. I like it very much :p I never had a definite image of Stonny, but this is very close to how she might look like, imo :sofa:

I second that. Best one so far :p

considered their scholarly will.

and with anguish he said,
"But how will we teach them to kill?"

I can't decide which one I prefer, but they are both good.

She looks hard as nails.

Thank you! :p I think I agree...seems like I'm finally hitting my stride and finding my style. This one is a lot "grittier" and rougher than, say, the portrait of the Queen of Dreams, but I quite like it. I was trying to convey a mood more than anything else with this one, sort of an experiment. Well, all my paintings are actually :p

I used Milla Jovovich as reference, but a lot of things changed during the process, thanks to the Martha Dahlig workshop in the newest issue of Imagine FX :p

im good at surch details... i always see if they are wrong :p

to fix it you can
1 move the "black spot" down
2 move the "blue" up so far that you see white under it...
(i always have problems whit the eyes of my drawn characters... i cant draw at enny rate but from the little exsperiense i got the eyes are hard)

While you're at it. The left colarbone also looks strange. It might not be anatomically correct, but I think you should cut it off so that the bone fades before it reaches the shoulder.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

It's good picture of Stonny, but I was 99% sure (like stark) that she had red hair, cause I distinctly remember her being described to have red hair in more than one part of the book. Damn, now I'll have to peruse through MoI and check my facts.
No, my username has nothing to do with a certain wickan warlock. The damned biach stole my username as far as I know.

Nice work. The hard/vulnerable thing comes thru and the scars in the color version are a nice touch.

- Abyss, impressed.
