Ok frookie please tell me you don't think this is a giant lacrosse tournament. This is BASKETBALL dear! Good grief how did you manage to miss that little fact!

My only problem with your final four is Michigan state. You have got to be joking! Villanova I think is going to be a major sleeper team and I almost considered putting them through on in my bracket, and UCONN has the potential to take it all.... but Michigan State?! That really does bring the lulz!

I have Mich. St. in the Final 4 as well, Tehol. They are a good team, and the Big 10 is a defense first league. Good at controlling the pace of the game which often frustrates the teams that want to run and gun.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I think MSU could make it easy.

They just cant be stupid like they have a few times this year. If they play their best they have the potential to win it all. :p

Well I have Michigan advancing to the round of 8 and meeting Louisville who also happens to be a major defensive powerhouse. Louisville isn't going to want to run against Michigan, they're going to hurt them on the inside. I think Louisville will prevail.

I have Louisvill v. MSU in the 8 as well, but I picked MSU to upset, because well, frankly, I want to see them goto the final four.

I do admit it would be nice for them to make it to the final four. I just think it's going to be really tough for them to take Louisville down.

Speaking of upsets....did anyone else pick Binghamton to advance out of the first round?

No but I put Duke in the sweet 16. Maybe fail, but worth the risk if it pays off IMO.

I'm hoping Binghamton is going to be one of the underdog stories of the tournament. I have them pulling off an upset over Duke and Minnesota to make it to the sweet sixteen. That's as far as I was willing to go with them as they would then be facing Villanova and I don't think they have a chance of pulling off that upset. Duke has been upset before, I'm hoping it will happen again.

Oh I know they probably will, I do like to support the underdog though. It was the only place in my selections where I let the fairytale thing overcome common sense.

LoL, yeah, thats always nice to do. I have illinois going to the sweet 16 even though they've been really inconsistent all year.
But hey who knows, BU might make it, then you'll look like the smartest of us all. :p

Well I've got Illinois falling to Kentucky in the first round. Overall though Illinois is probably a much better bet to make it to the sweet sixteen than BU. I have more than a sneaking suspicion that tehol is not going to come out looking smarter than anyone in this case!

p.s. You really do like that avatar don't you!

Baskteball frookie B-A-S-K-E-T-B-A-L-L! Good grief dear how much more obvious do I need to make it! Xavier's not bad but they're not winning or making it to the final four!

He's being purposefully obtuse, Tehol.

Well it's frookie, you can never be to sure! Trust me I know, sometime you have to shout it out for him to get it! Even then he can still mix things up, if anyone knows I do!
