I enjoy graphic novels in general but tend to shy away from certain styles that go
almost a bit too far in making a character I know and love seem...over illustrated, if
thats the right term. I enjoy the manga comic style for the limitless variations of a simple
presentation. but in the same breath I'm blown back by stan lee and his recent work that
almost constantly reinvents itself.
I personally feel that the malazan dialogue alone lends itself to a quirky yet instantly
identifiable illustration, that said I really enjoy onracks brilliant take of malazan characters,
particularly his sketches that capture the essence of their personality. Personally I feel his
style best suited to any graphic novel to be produced but wanted to hear how you guys here
would prefer the malazan book of the fallen to be illustrated.
nominations could lead to something...you never know...

I'll wait for the currently in-progress graphic novel of the Malazan series to be finished first. I'm lazy that way.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
