Anybody playing the multiplayer on XBox?

This has to be the most fuckstrating game i've ever played in my entire life.

All the new things they added are awesome, this had the potential to be a great, great...great shooter.

Then they had to go and fuck up the lag compensation. Its utterly ridiculous how fucked up this is. I can't go more than 45 minutes without having to stop before i put my boot through my 60 inch.

They just cranked it way up. I can go 35-0 when I 3-bar and like 20-10 when I 4bar.

Take the lag compensation out, let the host have that joy.

What is it? Is this why there is never good signal? I never have a full bar!!

No, what it does is when you have a lower signal, the game delays actions against you and acts as if your actions happened before they did, to try to compensate for your lag. The problem is that they turned it up too high so it is actually better for you to run 3 bars now instead of 4.

I've stopped playing the game for now and went full time back to Skyrim. The rage was bad for my marriage.

I'll pick it up again if they tweak the settings, but until then i'm done with it.


Its just so fucked up that i'm a half a second behind the lobby because i have a good internet connection.

I just found out that unlocking a gun with the prestige token carries it through ALL the rest of your prestiges. MK14 4ever!

And the new maps are really awesome. They got released into the general population on Live! today.

And I think they adjusted the lag compensation. Or I'm not noticing it as much at all.

Also I've been playing around with specialist. All perks is fucking awesome.

As you know I am never off the game. One of the first things I unlocked was the assassin perk and that is also caried through each prestige. MK14 is great I agree. ACR and also last Sniper gun (forgot the name) especially when you get to lvl 24 on it, Speed attachment is really good!

I haven't played the new maps yet.

What is your favourite set of Perks?

Hardline
Stalker

And then for my killstreak I run specialist giving me Ass, Scav, and Blind Eye.

Works very well.

When I don't run specialist my perks are

Scav
Ass
Stalker

Unless they fix the lag comp for Black Ops 2 I think i'm done with COD.

What is the fastest way to level up? I'm approaching level 40, but the MK14 isn't unlocked until level 60. I tire of the repetitiveness and want to get there as fast as I can. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

What is the fastest way to level up? I'm approaching level 40, but the MK14 isn't unlocked until level 60. I tire of the repetitiveness and want to get there as fast as I can. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

You do the objectives for whatever gametype you are playing. Fastest way to level is Domination and HQ, when you are winning. When you aren't winning, fastest way is TDM.

Just make sure you choose the correct type of weapon for the map you are playing on, and mow through the trash that is the playerbase at large.

^^^ Thanks, I'll give that a go. I've done some googling and it seems that Kill Confirmed also can help you level up quickly. Team Deathmatch style is not my favorite however due to the campers. I prefer Domination and Sabotage game play for that reason.

Kill Confirmed isn't bad, and there will be less campers since you get points for running over dog tags instead of hiding in a corner. And campers are awesome when they don't move. They eat a grenade every time I'm near that point in the map for the rest of the match.

I'm on Prestige Level 12 and i've found that the fastest way to level up is to get pro on each perk and unlock everything for each gun. I don't think you can get them all done by the time you prestige but the more you do the more xp you generate. Blind Eye Pro you need to take down 40 UAV's/helicopters whatever which is easy enough, you get 10000 xp for that, then once you have pro you can take out care package copters easily as well and you get 10000 for taking down 100 airborne streaks. Recon pro is easy enough especially on smaller levels, just throwing a flash bang once, then a grenade then a flash bang and you get 120 of those quickly enough 10000 xp, once you got pro your bullets do the same thing so that challenge is easy enough. Once you unlock specialist you can take down each of these perks a lot quicker.


Once prestiged, if you prefer the MK14, you can unlock gear and this will remain with you through each prestige so you can start off the next prestige with the MK14 if you like.
