I was Gamelon, and I had a BP which got used up because of that :p made my reveal more pressing since I wanted to do it before someone decided to off me.

day 1 -lynch
night 1 - 2 kills

day 2 -4 kills and a lynch
night 2 - 1 kill

day 3 - 1 lynch
night 3 2 kills.

day 4 - 1 kill, 1 lynch
night 4 - 2 kills

day 5 - 1 lynch
night 5 - 2 kills

we lost half the players in 2 day/night cycles.

That's my point, imagine if only one or two of those managed. The Aliens lost because all these failed, and they were NKed in the last 3 nights of the game.

I think the Predator has been toned down properly, but I just want to comment that the Aliens might have been toned up too much.

But like I said, the innos won, that's why I love this game :p

Yeah, day 2 was horrifically bloody. Had the innos down to their knees after that... But we came back and won woooooooo!

actually, of the 5 deaths that day:

1 was alien (hp)
1 was Company (Omtose)
2 were infected (Obdi, Galain)

our only real loss was Bishop... who was our healer AND an android.....

I think what needs to be more clear is when Company should start infecting - because it is not in their own best interest to do so day 1-3. Then, the aliens balance out as well since they won't gain extra recruits.

EDIT: all in all, it worked very well, and lovers-predators were seemingly overpowered too, but worked like a charm.

I know that was directed at Mental... Once he died all I got was how much he hated me for letting you and dibs be predator and how the inno's were screwed....yada....

I was a little disappointed in how quickly Hicks and shadow were taken down... I don't know if I need to tone down the aliens so much as tone up the marines a little more...

I really liked how the 2 person Predator worked out... Although now that I think about it I could have made Dibs your human symp and not let you talk to each other...
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

I think that is one thing which made the game so good... the predator wasn't a solo tank anymore that was just hard to take down in the day, but much more subtle with game control during the day, too because it had 2 votes, distancing etc.

Yeah I have been thinking of a mechanic that would allow a company man to decided when someone hatches... Kind of like a timer of sorts... Only if the company man dies then the creature hatches right away day or night... Would have to check out the balance with that though...
