As we grow older do you still unleash the inner child?

I realized something else tonight after i got out of the shower and performed a task i never used to have to do.

You know your getting older when you have to trim your ear and nose hairs!

Too much information?
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

If your pants go all the way up to your nipples, you're getting old.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

hmm
I'm of the opinion that reaching maturity's a gradual process.
Imho, you really think about it once you have achieved something in your life.

the first stirs of "feeling mature" that I have ever felt were in my 18th summer. After one year of Uni, I went back home to UA for a visit, and spent 2 weeks in thecountryside, building stuff alongside my father. All we did was work, and watch the World Cup in the evenings.
It was seeing the immediate result of my labour, the tangible display (we were doing concrete work) that really made me think "damn, I'm actually growing up"
It probably had a lot to do with the fact that that summer I got my first job as well.

so yeah, in my experience, you start feeling "old/mature" once you realize that you have accomplished something.

I can't remember when I first felt like I was growing up. I was probably in my late teens before I started to notice that I'd behaved much more childishly the preceding year, whatever year it was.

Becoming an adult though... hmm... tougher still.

I remember reading the Mirror in my mid-teens so that didn't have anything to do with it, and I'm sure if I had a car at the moment that I'd drive the same way I always have so it's not that either.

I think it may have been around the time I stopped using recreational drugs!

Yes! That's it!

I need more drugs plx!!! :D

But seriously, I find staring 31 in the face far easier than 30. I think you'll be ok Mez. It's all in the mind.

Btw, great link CI. Moxon's review of that pile of garbage was awesome.
