I have to agree with Ruse, the Spam levels in the last few games has risen drastically. It's fun I know, especially during night when people refuse to say anything of value, but there is a limit. Some of us have to work, and coming back to a game to find 400-500 posts that could be summarized in 5 lines is a little off-putting. There are plenty of spammy-threads in the inn, can we tone it down a little here. It's almost end of day, we really should have switched into serious mode by now.
And RP doesnt mean spam - you can have serious discussions while sticking to your given personality. So to nudge this game into serious play I'm gonna ask again.
What ye mateys doing with yer booty? What is gold for? PS refuses to tell me what the purpose of collecting gold is, although he was adamant that it's something we should be doing.
I have to be off for work now, check in sometime later. In case I'm not back bye end of day
vote Galayn Lord
for having absolutely no content.

first of all i gotta agree with ruse and hp, the spam is getting out of hand. I checked the thread a few time last night but was so bored by reading the drivel that i couldnt motivate myself to post. If people just want to spam fine, but someone please kill me tonight cause i couldnt be fucked reading that shit anymore.
Trying to play the game - ps hinted to me that the gold is important and now that captain is dead we keep what we take, i think whoever has the most wins in the end. Which means serc and mockra have more gold than the rest of us and are also good targets for a nk if we want to win. Not sure what lynching does with gold, i dont think ment meant to tell me as much as he did as kurt wouldnt answer any questions. Basically then, once we kill the ninjas either by lynching or vigging whoever among us has the most gold will win is my guess.
there are four votes on galayn already, though it says three. I will swap if people stop spamming, else my vote is staying on telas until he stops spouting crap.

you asked the question, if he posts again and doesnt answer then vote for him or ask it again, if he isnt readign the thread you posting over and over again isnt going to make a difference now is it? Your question isn't going to disappear.

You're saying that people with vig kills collect the gold? So those people are more concerned with collecting gold than killing the ninjas?
If a pirate has collected lots of gold but the ninjas win, will the gold mean anything?

There doesn't seem to be much to talk about at the moment, so I'm having some fun. Sue me.
I'll give Tennes time to respond. Anything in particular you want to discuss otherwise?
Edit: cross post!

I am not saying anything in particular, I was just wondering about your question. It seemed to me that it's something a ninja would wonder about, rather than a Pirate. I might be wrong of course, but I find it interesting.

Why do you think this is something a ninja would wonder about?

Checking in for a bit. Thanks for replying Galain. Your take on the gold situation does seem likely. The way I see it, the gold might just be the most important aspect of the game. The ninjas are on the boat to get their gold back, the only way they can do so is by killing all the pirates and taking it from them. After all the ninjas are dead, I think the gold decides which pirate wins. Either a winner will be declared straight away (whoever has the most gold) or the remaining pirates will duke it out till they have all the gold. An interesting mechanic - the pirates have to try get as much of their comrades gold without weakening their team enough to let the ninjas win.
Any idea who gets lynch gold now that the captain is dead?

Because I think it's pretty obvious why any of us would do this - the question you asked I thought seemed superfluous.
Unless you think it was not pirates but ninjas that have killed.
Edit: grammar

none, maybe we all get a share? If so lynching mockra or serc may be the best idea for gold, but best hold them until later, i think we need to find the ninjas first. PS made it clear we werent doing that, and frankly i am amazed the mods went to the trouble of readign the thread with the amount of spam in it.
My foremost ninja suspicions are those doing rp, most specifically fener who is voting for night. There are a few people who seem to be trying to PI fener as a result of the rp (mockra for one). Actually i want to look back over it but dont think i could be bothered so maybe someone can remember, but wasnt it mockra who said that ninjas only kill at night so because he day vigged stalker he was a pirate? He also seems sure that the ninjas wont do anything tonight, hinting at some sort of mass healing role and 'cleared' all of the rp players.
remove vote
vote mockra
REASONING - I don't like spam, i dislike the way you are 'rping' and clearing others. You seem to imply you have a mass healing role yet day vigged another player and you have gold for certain. You seem to be protecting fener, and implying ninjas can only kill at night to clear yourself and serc. Did i mention the spam?

"pseudoscience and superstition will seem year by year more tempting, the siren song of unreason more sonorous and attractive. Where have we heard it before? Whenever our ethnic or national prejudices are aroused, in times of scarcity, during challenges to national self-esteem or nerve, when we agonize about our diminished cosmic place and purpose, or when fanaticism is bubbling up around us – then, habits of thought familiar from ages past reach for the controls. The candle flame gutters. Its little pool of light trembles. Darkness gathers. The demons begin to stir." - Carl Sagan
