I bet that's actually due to his inexperience in malazan Mafia - he's going for the obvious explanation, rather than the more baroque one (Ninja controlled puppets). The veterans are over-thinking it.

In fact ... it might have been interesting to give the Ninjas those extra alts - I'll make a note of that for future games.

Hell, I really figured more people would be dead by now - all those DKs and NKs, and everyone's playing it sort of safe. If things don't pick up, I'm going to give dibs or Grief (I think morgoth45 is still out) a one-shot Day Kill.

That one's ... tricky. I'll give permission for Omtose, but not Serc - without trying to give you too much info (though actually it's nothing Galain couldn't PM to you), Omtose is equal in rank to you, and Serc is a notch higher. Taking out your second-in-command would mean that if Galain dies, your team loses, as there's no one to take over. Too much damage there to qualify as permissible.
