I clarified it for them - it's the only Day Kill they have, so it was a special case.

In case I don't get back before a lynch or Day's end, and assuming Mockra doesn't die from a Day-Kill, here's the end of Day One/start of Day Two scene:

killed swiftly and painlessly ... it didn't leave you with you spine twisted so far backwards that your head
had literally been shoved into your ass.

"The iocane must have been spiked with something even deadlier," the First Mate concluded confidently and concisely, with a few of the crew members shaking their heads sadly at the narrator's faux-pas. You're supposed to avoid alliteration, always.

"Fortunately, I have spent years developing an immunity to iocane powder, and also have a pair of rather thick
gloves and the cunning ability to wash stuff in water." With that, he swept up the dead man's gold, ignoring both
the mutterings of the watching crew members and the lethal precedent set by Blackbeard.


Mockra is dead, he was Lisheo, the Cranky Old Bastard, Pirate, and had 20 Gold.


It is now Day Two.
There was no Night.

Just ignore any Night actions - if they were one-shot or otherwise limited, only tell the player the action has not been used up.

If you have to do a Day-Kill death scene, please be sure to include the following line:

"And on the far side of the main-deck, entirely ignoring the spectacle of the lynch, the monkey angrily dry-humped Black-beard's bloated and fly-infested corpse. Quite the shame, a few crew members thought sadly - there was a perfectly lonely cask of grease for the pulleys, not ten feet away, that was being rudely shunned."

Sorry, my sense of humor tends towards the vile.

First time because we were altless, second time not really my fault, and this time I brought it on myself (although I did not expect everyone but me would have daykills, I mean they even made me BP for night 1, funny boys)

We could also use the mod powers to simply delete the spam posts as they appear. I mean, the distinction between silly early RP (and the occasional funny bit later in the game) and spam is sometime subtle, but it's like the definition of "indecent", i.e. "you know it when you see it"

Trying to keep my distance from people, though serc defending me from emu was not good, since I reckon emu was just trying to provoke a reaction.
I think emu would be a good person to die at some point. Tonight is possible, though may cast suspicion on me. Then again, can probably hide in the WIFOM, as long as no one over-reacts and jumps to my defence. Best defence I would ask for is just asking for time for me to come on, if it looks like a possible speed lynch. Please don't defend me, or any of the others. If a decent case on one of us comes up, you should try and be on it, early.
Mockra keeps hinting he's doing something tonight. Not sure, he may just be trying to draw the NK.
So far, I reckon we're doing well, except Sercs attack of Emu after he attacked me, which hopefully will be forgotten/ignored, and seems to have been atm, yet if emur comes back, he will quite possible continue to push. Another decent kill would be a Rp'er, Mockra or Rashan or Korlat. I lean towards Rashan. Just because its bad to have a lot of people that people think are innocent later.

Well, I've set up Shadow as someone who is annoyed at Ruse (couldn't resist having a dig at Impirion at the same time ). So it's all set up for a rant-off! I need to write my Ultimate Deathmatch intro, so I don't really have time to do it right now, but I'm sure the rest of you are good enough at it to cause a scene .
