Sign me up for that parent-teacher session.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

At that age I was convinced my teachers didn't exist outside of the school.

They could very well have done nothing and the kids would not have noticed.

Nah it would have got out. It's in the media so some parents were bound to have seen it. When I was a kid, someone not only found out one of our teachers used to be a glamour model, the also managed to get hold of a topless pic of her to hang up on the classroom wall. Kids love this kind of gossip even more than the adults do :D

Three of my old teachers were pedophiles (mostly PE ones), along with two scout leaders.

One teacher got fired for selling pot to students. Now HE was my favourite.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

We had one teacher in junior high, a PE instructor, who had dancing units in 8th grade. It was weird, but apparently a practice the school had implemented years ago. Anyways, he always used to just pick a girl at random to use for a demonstration, even if said girl openly said she didn't want to do it (the guy was in his early 50s so that's understandable). Since he kept forcing people to be part of a demo all the girls in class lodged a huge protest involving the principal, etc. He retired the following year although no mention was made if this event was the reasoning.

Wow, my school wasn't very exciting in the criminal teaching stakes. We did have a PE teacher with no eyelashes..... And a maths teacher had a nervous breakdown during a class, which was interesting.

We made our teacher run out of the room crying in 8th grade College Algebra (lol, right?).

We also lost a teacher between 10th and 11th - he was apparently having an afair with a senior (of legal age) student and so was dismissed. He was a cool guy too and really seemed to enjoy his job.

Oh for God's sake, leave her alone. It's not like she was perverting the kids right?

I had a teacher who retired because we were giving him manic depression. Huh.
