Is supposed to be my entry for the Malazan Art Guild contest on DA, but I'm NOT content with how it came out. I actually drew every rib to make him look gaunt, but it's all hidden beneath the armour :) And there's not enough dried blood and mould, too. I was afraid to overdo the dried blood stuff. The black smear is supposed to be a shadow wraith. The scene I used is when Seren, Buruk and Hull meet Silchas on the trail to the Hiroth village.

He cartainly looks creepy, like a revenant. I like the face and hair.

Perhaps the armor is a bit too perfect and clean after having been in the earth for 400.000 years? In fact, was he naked when he came out of the barrow? Of course, if he's a projection he can look however he wants... hmm. I has confuzzled myself.

i think its really well done, like the overall effect of creepiness. only would say i noticed his neck is a tad long to my mind. but like i always say, i cant draw for crap so dont take my word for it

I like it. :( ...........................more or less the picture that I had in my head.........the wraith is exactly what I imagined.

Trying to come up with some constructive criticism.........but its pretty damn perfect. Its a while since I've read that scene but wasnt it early morning or raining or foggy??? maybe (being vvvvvpicky here) he is a bit stark white in either of those cases. Maybe tone teh white of the armour down a bit? :(

I shall come up with them constructive critiscism. Burnae... why are you using one thousand punctuations? Grammar, even the nazi kind, tells us that no more than "3" are needed- That being - ... - not "..........." this means nothing, and more than 3 . is just silly

Why is apt pointing this out? Because punctuation makes apt angry

Its a habit from when the earths crust was still cooling and chat was in its infancy.

Thats actually incredible, silchas is one of the hardest characters and i think a lot people overlook him, his attire was always a confusion to me but i like what you did, somehow he seems strong and weak at the same time and i don't know how you did that!
