Got one today, snuck past the filters. Very sneaky.

Title was "Hey, heard are you the guy who cannot make the love?"

I don't know why it's a question but dammit, these spammers are cold people.

I wonder how many people actually get these emails and think "well, they've got me there. Might as well give them my credit card and perhaps social security information in exchange for some magic pills."

At least it wasn't a Nigerian Prince making fun of my impotence while simultaneously offering me the chance to get 20 million dollar inheritance.

yup, those spammers are some mean people.

You know who else are mean people (but in a funny way) them counter-spammers. I forget their website but that stuff is funny.

Do they not realise that it does not work and just tends to annoy people? I'm confused as to why spam, is there something in it that I'm missing?

Well it doesn't really cost much distribute a bazillion spam mails and if a few dozen actually respond it's profittable.

Besides there's nothing more entertaining than adding your friends adresses to gay porn sites.

Interesting link on how spam actually does pay:

-->how spammers make money<---

My mum recently got the internet and email at home. I was trying to explain spam to her. Erection enhancement isn't really a conversation you want to get into with your mother.

that was actually interesting. so these viruses could be using my resources right now?

But what if these people had multiple accounts and multiple products and multiple everything...they could then earn schmidt-loads...

AIJ, listen I have a plan...Wat? He's our resident spambot, might as well use him for something useful like lining our pockets with readies :harhar:

You know, you and I have very different families.

In my house, it's almost exclusively the sole topic of conversation. I cant get the old windbag to stop going on about it for more than 5 seconds at a time!

What, "You should really get some, Greg, you don't satisfy me nearly as much as your brother" not wearing a bit thin?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Yes, Frook. How may I help you. Engaging "woss innit for me, guv?" protocol. Awaiting orders.

Odd...usually spam emails encouage the opposite. I get a tonne of penis offers every day. And that ain't the half of it.

My family used to be like that, 'til the last Thanksgiving reunion. 3-dozen-some people heatedly arguing clitoral enhancement was fun until the neighbours got restraining orders...

I think there is another type of spam, that while it doesn't hurt it certainly exists. I'm not saying what or who :) but it is a blight upon all.

Not really, but we were talking about spam...

Hehe I understand that french, woot, I guess that is what 7 years of it gets you.

Though should it be Je ne comprends pas, or is that a technical thing that doesn't happen in casual converstation?
