Aw, hell. I just came up with the most awesome scene I could possibly do in the Deathmatch... and it'd very specifically only work against Shin's character. I was looking forward to using that as soon as I could. Tits.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll think of something.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I expect you to bring Catherine's soul along for the ride. Maybe Lippmer, too.
rats, now I need to figure out how to fight a living sandstorm....

Yep, that was the idea - I can do the first post in our fight if you like, so you know how the party stands when you come to face them. I was planning on Team Sandstorm putting up a slightly more unified front this time...
Sir Thursday
go ahead, but i'm trusting you not to posess my character by the time I start writing, lol.
i do have one little trick planned, not sure how it'll work yet, but i've got an idea forming up...

I knew you were going to pass into new forms but I didn't think you'd be keeping the old ones along too! An ever-growing team, oh dear! Since you might start writing before I finish Lippmer's death scene, I'll spoiler some key points for you:

best way to do this would've been to PM ST, D'rek.
you have ANY idea how hard it's gonna be to resist reading that?

Oooooooooo, I just had a great idea. If we ever meet.........
You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.

I need to find out who wins out of Temp and Grief first, damn it! And also whether the eventual winner minds going first, since I did so last time.

dibs vs Cause: dibs
What a strange fight this is, the four posts have completely different styles. Both initial posts play on the comedic, and the second ones on the dramatic. It was tough to chose a vote. I really liked Cause's idea with his newspaper reporting of the fight, I thought this particular post was the best of the fight. Still, in general I would give my vote to Dibs. I thought Dibs actually made Captain Gershon sound more dangerous than Cause did. My only problem is that, DeathMatch-wise, Morgoth didn't do much. In two posts, he basically got skewered and threw an axe
Tough call.

My 'death scene' has been posted. Not exactly a death scene actually, but a pretty final end to him nonetheless.
Edit: to Hugin & Munin, that is.

DIBS. I just want to say that the day will come where I triumph over you. When that day arrives I cant promise to be a good sport. There could be victory dances. There might be bonfires and a party. But as always when you beat me I wish you the best of luck and hope you win the competion.
