It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

When it comes to yours beloved Kruppe, there is but one answer to boot....
He stood Brood down on an exploding knoll,
for wich he payed no taxing toll!

He stood face to face with Jaghut Tyrant indeed,
In a dreamworld of mystery and fantastic deed!

But let us not wonder how he does it,
for the mother of all he is a nugget!

Indeed his powers seem many and vast,
all encompassing as our mothers grasp!

She sleeps as many others as her,
she sleeps to dream and protects her herd!
Kruppe may be a son or jest,
but do not laugh at Kruppes behest!

He may be round as round can be,
But Herald?Knight? King, is he?

For now this is a riddle for thee,
one wich I pondered and scribbled to be.

A point.
I remember reading somewhere, that younger warrens are like strands of elder ones.
Thus, if you follow rashan back far enough=KG, eventually.

Also, we know very little of QBs souls. They may not all have been mortals, and one may have had access to KG

Yeah i do remember that somewhere, as you said Greif that they all tie back to Elder warrens, which makes sense.
And as for QB, wasn't one of his souls a fearsom Jaghut swordsman who drove Dassem back a step? i don't remember the book but i believe it was in a recounting of the bridgeburners chase of QB and those with him. Into Raraku where QB used all of their souls to survive, and thats when QB and Kalam were going to ambush WJ, but turns out he knew their plan and blah bla hthe rest is history. Point is Didn't it briefly tell about the souls QB "absorbed" then?

Yes, he has the soul of Set'alahd Crool, a Jhag who drove Dassem back 6 steps with the power of an Ascendant in his sword.

It also gave a list of the other souls-not all were described, but there was one who controlled High Meanas, another with Rashan, can't remember the rest. Anyone know the rest?

You will find the recounting of the Bridgeburners in a monologue of Whiskeyjack sharing stories with Annomander Rake in his tent. The souls within him are almost all accounted for in this recounting. (Memories of Ice I believe)

Kruppe, I believe as for my poem, well him I believe to be in Burns favor. This can explain his avoiding the might of the hammer, and his dreaming, it all sounds like Burn herself.

that idea is not bad, you may be right. but isn't mentioned somewhere (i have no idea where) that krul looks at kruppe like a mentor looking at a pupil who has long since surpassed his masters skills?

It does at the parley outside capustan, where Krul finally makes himself known to all. But remember we are at this point observing through the eyes of Itkovian, and thus it is only an independent observation by a bistander.

When it comes to Kruls look and admiration, it may be as any father of all children looking upon and admiring their creation.
Kruppe is adept at his own warren aswell as adept in the art of negotiation. Krul being the father, persay, of all magics may only be admiring this underestimated being. And by know they already know each other from Silverfoxes birth, where Krul and Pran Chole had their vital roles, but without kruppes dreamworld it would not have been possible.
And also Krul first and foremost manifested at all in Kruppes dreams.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: SE himself said that Kruppe remained a mystery, even unto SE himself. While this was before he wrote TtH, it was after GotM and MoI. So any connection to particular ascendant or warren in Kruppe's efficacy within those two novels may be pure coincidence, since SE (claims) that even he didn't know the source of Kruppe's efficacy...

Sorry to crush you dreams. Feel free to keep speculating...

Well, I'll never see him alongside QB or Sinn in terms of efficacy...just part of the mystery, hey?

I would say that Kruppe is definitely more of a QB-type than a Sinn-type. I.e. using his magic cleverly, not powerfully.

There's been alot of theories that Icarium might Time-aspected, and since Kruppe can dreamwalk through time there might be some relation there.

Just a theory tho.

Maybe kruppe is of the same race/family as the tyrant of dajuristan, thus being an "elder race" creature he has access to magic other than the human warrens. Or maybe he is a cherub... he reminds me of those silly cupid angel thingies!

It ahs already been said that Kruppe cannot be some kind of elder creature because he still felt the effects of Lorn's sword in GotM. He's just a human much more cleverer than most think that fools eveyone with his aspect.

I suspect we will never discover the full efficacy of Kruppe's talents.
