Posting seriously for a moment (still not used to the new forum yet, been posting rubbish in serious forums and vice versa as the name isn't as obvious as before) but I know full well I could get a job at one of the KFCs in my city, and do well there - it's one of the best choices for a new job as Plymouth has fuck all employment, and it'll only get worse. However, completely ignoring the whole 'fast food' part of it, I couldn't possibly work there because I will kill myself on chicken because I have no self control when it comes to KFC. Seriously, I'm talking heart attack in six months, and an extra four stone in 3. So I'm poorer than I could be due to concerns about my weight.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Indiana is in the top 10 for state obesity rates.

Seen here.

Holy deep fried shit, 66.5% of all adults in the state of Mississippi are overweight, with a resounding 30.6% technically considered obese. That's appalling.

Well, when you are surrounded by corn-fields you are hungry all the time!

Mississippi has no excuse. :(
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Its WIN...especially as it looks like you're getting some action in your new and 'improved' body.

BUT, there is an alternative if you train really really really hard and eat lots and lots of chicken, you can become:

No body builder as ripped as that has a package that big.....

The Sumo thing isn't the best comparison. Your average fatty has gained fat around their internal organs and have for the most part become "filled with fat". This is incredibly unhealthy. Sumo wrestlers on the other hand have excess fat packed ontop of hardened muscle and as a result, they are a much more healthy kind of fatty.

The big new years sumo tournament is on TV for the next couple of weeks. The return of Asa Shoryu after a year of hiatus has been awesome. That guy is just plain fun to watch and despite being away is 3-0 so far.

Yeah we do. It's frikking hot here. That makes us want to be lazy. And have BBQ.

I sometimes think that the reason the South has such a weight problem is because of the traditions around fried food. People like to fry everything. People will eat stuff they normally wouldn't eat if it's deep-fried.

Also, we like butter. Lots of it.

Well, Terez, if we are being honest its because people don't eat healthy, nor do they exercise. But, I prefer blaming the corn as it is less depressing.

America = The Buttertons (that stupid teleision ad, that is dead on in accuracy despite its stupidity), not just the South.

I saw some news story on Nightline (or something) that said 50% of Americans are considered overweight based off the BMI stuff. I'm not but that isn't a good stat in any possible way.

Agreed. BMI is pretty much worthless. And let's face it, most people know when they're overweight - they don't need a test to tell them...

The BMI will determine pretty much all shorter, muscular people are overweight. Seriously, a 5'7" NFL running back who is 220 lbs of muscle would be obese by the BMI chart.

If you really need a body fat measurement there are better tools for it - they have caliper tests and water thingies...t

And the Truffle Shuffle! If you can do one - you need to lose some body fat!
