Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I don't get the one with the tree either... the others are rather obvious though.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Nope... first off, his pants stops above her arm, so she can't have slipped inside his pants from above. Only accesible entry left then is through his zipper, which is also not the case since his zipper should be more to the right of where her arm stops. What is the case here is that her hand is actually folded in a sort of fist, and is resting on his lap. Nothing weird about it really my friend.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

The Japanese train one, seeing demons or whatever in the window is just like seeing a dog made out of clouds. You could take all kinds of random train-window reflection pictures and see some goofy stuff.

I think it's because the guy is siitting by himself and everyone is crowded together on the other side. He must've let a big one.
You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.
