No, they wouldn't advertise it.

You're in Louisiana right?

It's playing at:

Cinemark 14 - Charles, LA

Perkins Row - Rouge, LA

Covington Stadium, Covington, LA

Elmwood Palace 20 - Harahan, LA

Are any of those close to you? If so, go to whatever website you normally order movie tix from and you should be able to find tix.

So then - theories as to how they're going to get around the regeneration limits?

Bah, it's really easy.

1. WE KNOW that THE DAY OF THE DOCTOR will deal with, unlock, and possibly end the Last Great Time War (see synopsis of the episode released yesterday). As such you will see the return of the Time Lords.

2. With the Time Lords return, and as a gift for stopping the madness and restoring things to status quo, the Time Lords (hopefully led by Romana III and not Rassilon...I'm kind of hoping he was iced) will biologically gift the Doctor with 12 more lives...as they did with the Master in the 20th Ann. special THE FIVE DOCTORS.

3. IF for some reason the 50th doesn't bring the time Lords back...since it's a biological shunt, my guess is there are ways around it...but yeah, I'm going with the above as the most sensible.

In ending the time war he takes all of the future timelords lives. Thus allowing him unending regenerations.

I'm fond of the Eye of Harmony theory.

It goes:

The Eye of Harmony is the source of all the Time-Lord's power, and a copy/link exists within every TARDIS.

HOWEVER - since the Doctor 'Time-locked' Gallifrey et al, how could he do that unless he had the original, rather than a copy/link?

As such, he has the power to regenerate multiple times already.

Interesting QT. I live in LAKE Charles and we have a Cinemark that has 14 screens so I'm wondering if that 1st on list is us. I ll keep tuning in my flixster app and see if it pops up.

Ed after looking at that list I'm sure it is us cause the 2nd says Rouge instead of Baton Rouge.

There you go brother. Told you it might be playing near you! :)

3D it up!

Ooooh - another possibility - when Amy remembered the Doctor back into existence, it restarted the clock at one.

That looks like it might be 10 with a young Queen Elizabeth I reckon - guess they're finally filling out all those teasers about him and her.

Which is a shame I think, i always liked the fact that all that stuff happened 'off-screen' - gave the character extra depth, as well as allowing for expanded universe stuff (books, comics, etc)

Here is the first of four DAY OF THE DOCTOR clips. Before Saturday night's full trailer debuts

Oooooooo, tantalizing. It looks like the painting seems to be the Citadel on Gallifrey burning, possibly during the Time War?

So we're actually getting two trailers this weekend - a new one on Saturday, and an effects-polished version of the previously mentioned one that played at various events during the year on Sunday.

Cool.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Word is that this is the one that was due to air on Sunday, that was already shown at Comicon and that, so we should still be getting another one later today officially- presumably a bit longer than this.

Sorry folks...BBC released it early after the leak.

Here you go. :unworthy:

A couple of awesome things.

That's not Rose. That's Rose Bad Wolf Manifestation. Check out her clothes and the fetishes in her hair...the backdrop in one shot is blasted out Gallifrey, and in the other she's telling Hurt to use "The moment" (the device mentioned by Rassilon in THE END Of TIME PII that locks the Time War, which is that red crystal in the trailer). During her time as Bad Wolf, she basically WAS the Time Vortex...so my guess is that this is a manifestation of that who helps Hurt's version of the Doctor during the Time War.

That makes Ten's companion probably Elizabeth I (whom he apparently married) from between THE PLANET OF THE DEAD and THE END Of TIME PART I during which he goes off to adventure before coming to face his Four Knocks.

Oh and also...I HOPE those badass looking flying spidery things are either Battle TARDIS's (the night backdrop does seem to be Gallifrey) or Spider flying Daleks. either way...oh gods, that's going to look fucking superb in 3D!

So we did indeed just see a longer trailer on the telly (just before Atlantis, which makes sense). Not online yet in any real quality but yeah, it looks properly epic.

Edit: here it is, though not sure if everyone can see that.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this already.

But when River Song gifted him with her regenerations in order to keep him alive wouldn't he have gotten all 11 of her remaining lives? We know that she only lived that final life and then died. She regenerated once I believe. Moffet could probably just say that the Doctor got her lives and thus can be reborn 11 more times after his 13th.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.
