Yes, but you're confirmed Julii: ergo
vote Ruse
Off to school now, we're watching Rome in classical civ. Hyuk, hyuk.

Tell them about Cicero bringing down Octavian and Marc Antony before being taken down by a pack of Spanish mercenaries.

Anthony's blood is splattered over the tiles where he died. Cicero, in one of his final flashes of brilliance, has declared that the blood shoudl not be removed. A lesson against arrogance, he called it. And so, the Senate convenes in a bloodstained slaughterhouse.
The affairs under discussion are no less sordid. Apparently, one senators dear and honourable wife has been seduced by an army officer, and a high ranking one to boot. Even less savory, it turned out that that officer's leader, the commander of the 7th, was preparing to overthrow the Senate by force in name of the Julii. Is there no end to the bloodshed, one must wonder?
And so, the general is summoned to the Senate, ordained to join the meeting not in military outfit, but in a toga. A nice, white, long toga. A toga that can be used to constrain his movements. A toga that can be pulled against the throat, bending the wearer backwards, exposing his throat. A toga that colors red with blood when the daggers start leaving their marks on the body underneath.
And so, another high official dies.
It is now night.
Ruse (Baudin) is dead, he was of the Julii.
11 people alive, 33 hours and 40 minutes left
6 votes needed for a lynch, 5 for night.
5 players voted for Ruse (Rashan, Hood's Path, Emurlahn, Korlat, Gamelon)
1 player voted for Korlat (Ruse)
6 players have not voted: Serc, Liosan, Gamelon, Galayn Lord, D'riss Kaschan
EDIT: just pretend I wrote that as P-S

It must be winter in Rome because the days are short but the nights are long...

Yeah, I was a bit remiss in my congratulations there. Sorry about that! Well done HP and Gamelon!

According to HP, that was the last Julii.
Only 4? Is that possible? Or did I forget anyone? (Thyrllan, Fener, Ampelas, Ruse, and briefly Rashan, if we believe him)

Well, HP has proven himself trustworthy...though I thought there'd have been 5 to start given the way the Julii started out split - Serc was my suspect for the last one.

Dammit, night again
Only being able to play for a couple of hours a day sucks now that those hours always seem to land up as night starts.
There's obviously a double voter - do we care who it is?
So I guess now we start hunting the Brutii (assuming HP is telling the truth). I know I'm not one, I guess Serc and Liosan are probably good places to start looking.

I'm pretty sure the double voter is Emurlahn...

Seems awfully quiet around here...have we managed to vote off all the other Europeans or something?
Also, I've just realised I know next to nothing about Kaschan - he has managed to be completely unremarkable thus far. The rest of the players I feel I've got a read on, and of those I'm most suspicious of Ruse (Julii), D'riss (Brutii) and Serc (Julii), in that order.

I'm here for a while. There is only 1 Julii left Korlat. This I know. Though I do suspect Serc of being Brutii. though its just suspect. As for you being republican...its possible. I have been more concerned with the Julii hunt than the Brutii. After Ruse is taken care of I am going to have to do some actual research!

Oops... Ruse Dead! Julii Down! Woo Hoo!

Yeah, my numbers have had Julii at 4 the whole time. In fact, they never reached above 4. The one night they recruited Rashan they lost someone. Seems kinda nerfed. I suspect the Rep's can only recruit every other, or have a set amount they could have recruited. Just speculation.

I'll take your word for it then. D'riss and Serc are all that's left, anyway. Both Brutii?

I would suggest we wait to see what night brings on the Rashan Ninja. Numbers are huge at this point, I would caution waiting to see where things head. But thats just me.

After my last count its now 7 Republican and 3 Brutii. So there is one more Brutii. I am fairly certain on some Rep's but for the final 3 Brutii I would pull from the list of
D'riss, Kaschan, Serc, Liosan, Korlat, Gaylan Lord
Maybe D'riss Serc and Liosan? Not sure. I will try to do a rundown on each as the day goes on. I have a few meetings. It will be intresting to see if the Brutii numbers go up tonight.

/sigh. Only 9.5 more hours of night...... This might be the first game ever where there are more night hours than day hours.

I'm here, before going to the library. Look, its my parents who insisted, so I'm even answering your questions Korlat before I go.
Which role/faction do you consider a priority for finding and/or lynching right now?
The Julii. Sure, you guys call it WIFOM, but I'm going after those bastards for screwing around with me.
Do you have any suspicions?
Not really, Though my first proper lynch attempt Kesso is in my sights for some reason.
Apart from Mockra contributing to the speed lynch of Thyrllan today, none of you have been on any of the successful trains. Why is that?
I actually tried pushing for a lynch on day 1 at Kesso, but the train turned to Thyrllan, who we know survived that. Then I went for Thryllan on day 2, but then we ended up lynching Silanah instead. I missed yesterday's lynch because I was at a family friend's place... for some reason...ask my parents about that.
Do you have any useful information about role-distribution or game mechanics that the rest of us may be unaware of that you would like to shed light on?
None whatsoever. I'm as lost in the dark as a blind man trying to find a green ball among only red balls...
Give me one good reason why I shouldn't vote for you when the night finishes, Julii scum!*
Because I think you're the Julii scum, baka Korlat. (that's romaji for you)

So, I reread Serc ( not much there. Like less than a page and a lot of it is "I'm here" or "I'm going to sleep" The post above caught my eye. He did go for a Kess lynch (known republican) And I would think that if Serc was the Rep. leader he would 1. be more cautious early in the game rather than start a train on possibly one of his own. (if the rep recruiter doesn't know his followers that is) 2. Stay more low key.
Since his supposed "slip" he has been way way way off the radar. I'd like to hear what Emur and Rash and Game think of Serc. as a possible Brutii laying low after he got called into the spot light. I am not 100% that he is Brutii... but I am confident he isn't the Rep. recruiter. so I would have no problems voting him. I'll do 1 more reread before my meeting. Looks at Gaylan Lord >.>
