The problem with a thyr lynch is that it's safe. It might not be the best choice, especially if MA is locked at the moment, but it gives everyone place to hide and knowledge that they wont hit a teammate.
Exactly. as well as Julii being able to jump on because they know he is toast sooner or later.
So you're saying that we're doing what all the Julii want us to?
They want him to die.
Its likely that lets MA recruit. Even if he can, they wont know that, so they want him dead. Killing him only helps them. Because yes, he's assured safe, but I for one would prefer that later in the game. Plus, since the Julii wants it, and everyone else is willing to jump on the safe lynch, it gives no info.
I still say lynching him is a bad move. Are we really gonna risk letting MA recruit?
Not only that, but I don't buy the "We must even the numbers" argument either.
2 people are dead.
That makes 18.
If there are 9 Julii, they can block any lynch, and have therefore won.
If there are 8, it needs to get down to 16.
Therefore, they need 2 dead. That means us hitting a non Julii plus the ONLY nk being a non julii.
And thats if there are 8 of them.

I think you misunderstood. I don't want to lynch Thyr yet. I am a proponent of letting him live until we get a Julii CF or confirmation that the Julii are recruiting. Check my earlier posts... I am trying to get people to look outside the obvious lynch, both for iinformation as well as it being a smart move against the Julii

it's snowing
it always snows on the Orthodox Christmass,
I think there's a decent bunch of us non-julii who can see the cons to removing Thyr now.
for the Julii, it IS the most obvious move--since Octavian is known, he is in no way safe, and even though they're removing one of their own, by doing so, they give MA another nigth to recruit, regardless of whether or not he can do it while Octavian lives.
as such, i'd urge all non-julii to vote for whomever other than Thyr they most strongly believe could be a Julii.

Agreed. 100% If we use this logic I think It could be deduced that there are current Julii on the Thyr train right now...
7 players have voted for Thyrllan (D'riss, Rashan, Emurlahn, Silanah, Mockra, Fener, Kaschan)
Hmmmmm is that Silanah I spy on that list? This is another piece of evidence that points to Silanah for being Julii. I am not 100% sure... but damn if the evidence isn't mounting up.

It is day 2.
18 players are alive.
There are 19 hours and 38 minutes remaining
With 1 hour compensation for the forum being down, the day lasts for 20 hours and 38 minutes, plenty of time remaining
10 votes needed to lynch, 9 votes needed for night.
7 players have voted for Thyrllan (D'riss, Rashan, Emurlahn, Silanah, Mockra, Fener, Kaschan)
1 players have voted for Rashan (Thyrllan)
1 player has voted for Liosan (Ampelas)
2 players have voted for Silanah (HP, Shadow)
8 players have not voted: Serc, Gamelon, Ruse, Liosan, Korlat, Galayn Lord, Kessobahn,

Ok I did a reread on Liosan- Not to much in the way of posts or content. but I did find this:
Thats how I would react if I was just trying to shrug off some attention if I was important. Kinda laugh it off. Anyway, its not much. I thought I saw a contradiction earlier but after rereading twice I was just misunderstanding. He has stayed by his accertation that MA can recruit from the start..... what IS interesting is that he doesn't have a vote on Thyr. If I really believed MA could recruit, I would want to kill Thyr right now.

I would hardly call Thyr a "suspect"

he has already been convicted the crime of supporting the bloodthirsty tyrant Julius by the modgods themselves.
EDIT: cross-post...@ Rashan,

in all honsty, though, we need to hear from pther people, because no matter how nice the two of us sitting here agreeing with each other sound, it takes 10 to lynch.
