I think the wording of the win conditions suggests that both Octavian and Marc anthony are julii although i have no idea who would be the leader as my history of rome is rubbish . As to the others I think someone mentioned likely names but i cant remember

Republicans--led by unknown, I thought brutus WAS a republican

No, I just thought thats what was said. And I never took Roman history or really cared to learn it to be honest. Only thing i know about Roman history is that Ceaser was killed by his congress or something and that they named a salad after him.

The game is not based on the series.
As much as I'd have loved to incorporate those two, they were more or less lowly soldiers from the 7th Legion (no higher than centurion), whereas the game is all about senators and their powerplay.

OK, so it might be MA and Octavious as co-leaders(or something) that have to kill each other to lead. Brutus as the Brutii leader and Cassius as the republic leader? Was Cassius a republican?

Edit: Yes I feel quite stupid for asking these questions, but I think it is important. Surely I am not the only one without the history lessons?
