Thats just it, I don't know if it is like either of those, but its something that should not be overlooked.

Do you have any reason to believe that your master is not the name you were given in your original role PM?

EDITED - was referring to your speculation in this post:

Well I reckon that its possible that Liosan or Gamelon might be one.
And I might concede that Kess might be one.

But honestly I am not sure, I mean Thyrr is one, I doubt that Rash is one and I doubt any of the modkilled players were leaders either.

Now Shadow on the other hand intrigues me. He claims that he knows something about the distribution yet he is not a leader. Obviously he could be lying, but I wonder if maybe he is his factions recruiter or can comm off thread with the recruiter while his leader is the alt everyone in his faction gets to know. <- Random thought but it kinda just occurred to me.

So all in all I am pretty damn clueless tongue.gif
But then thats what happens when you're a grunt of little significance.

So, can anyone think of a reason why that deadline would be extended?

No, its just that Octavian knows who everyone is and he can recruit and is obviously a leader and yet Shadow has the same power, but is not as he claims a 'leader' it just struck me as odd, that and Rashan's comment about being republic and not having a leader.

I know both could be bullshitting, but I played in both games and got burned in them, so those sort of mechanics tend to resurface in my mind when ever we have similar games.

Edit: sorry I meant Shadow knows who is in his faction, not that he can recruit

Probably because the mods think that come day three, we will all just do a mass reveal and the game would end about 12 minutes later. I think they were probably right to think that.

i can give you a very good reason but it will cost me my life until day 4. I am pretty certain a good number of others could also give you a reason as well.

On a more general note the game mechanics are probably set up so that a revealfest cant happen until a certain number of people have been lynched, granted mod kills work the same, but there isnt the same level or need for discussion if people are simply modkilled and i am not actually surprised by the decision. Just disppointed slightly.

Well in the italian game (I assume you're talking bout 31) we were told from the start it was 6v6v6v1v1 and only the one faction could recruit.

Honestly this setup could look like anything and I wouldnt be surprised. Remember Venge is co-modding...

But they only extended it in light of the two modkills...which would imply that the reason is related to their powers. Any guesses what could have such an effect? Maybe someone has a reveal-triggered ability and Tennes/Omtose had some kind of counter to it?

So now you are saying you are a Republican, with an ability that will make people want to kill you? Let's do it now!

Or maybe with two unplanned deaths the roles that would activate would end the game too soon.

Have to say, given that we apparently got a lynch on him yesterday, I'm slightly surprised by the lack of heat on Rashan today. Not a whole lot has changed except the knowledge that we don't get the name of the player after death, and yet somehow that translates to everyone going for Thyrllan instead...seems a bit odd to me.

Korlat, we know that Republicans and Brutii are both a man down, whereas Julii are not. Seems to me that the Order of Death is pretty clear.

You've been very reluctant to discuss Thyr today, has to be said. Too close to home?
