hehe nice Obdi- top 15k isn't bad.

When I was playing everyday my team consisted on one guy in the top 300, one in the top thousand, and the rest of us who were really good but hadn't played as much.

there is no grudge and thus no grudge match. You are not my equal and so cannot challenge me in a meaningful way. I could have continued ignoring you, aside from the odd poke but I truly believe that these boys are better than you at this. Perhaps I'm wrong, but the clinical precision with which they deal with games like this is frankly chilling to me and I like to watch it. It's a lark, not a grudge match

I've so far not connected to Xbox live, but I've just managed to borrow a wireless connecter - how the hell do you get the thing to work though?

It's fitted to my xbox; the light is on; I turned on the wireless router (which is upstairs) and gone into the setting menu on the xbox. I entered the sipps (?) code from the router, so now the xbox does a test, and the name of my connection/router name comes up in the window. The top bit says it's connected, and has the little bars showing a strong signal.

But... when trying to connect, the window below that says 'unable to connect.' I've read a few different instructions for this but I don't know what I'm missing... is my router too far away/through too many walls? THe signal seems to be good on the xbox, if I'm looking at the right bit, that is.

Anyone got any ideas?

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

As it was explained to me, the wireless connector is a piece of crap and you should just go wired.

Yeah, I just installed a series of wireless routers in my house. So the main signal from downstairs is sent throughout the house into the routers which I then have cables running from. It works fantastically.

My wireless works great...but I think my front usb ports are crapping out on me, never a good sign.

Anyhow, my gamertag is Tulas Shorn, feel free to add etc.

I don't have an Xbox. I'm poor that way. And in all others. I play CoD4 on my cousin's when I'm in Sydney though, but don't ask me what the tag is lol.
