ok, here is the next quote:

"Their gazes locked for a moment longer, then the wizard sighed. 'I owe you a tankard of ale when it's all over.'
'I will hold you to it, Quick.'
The wizard flashed that memorable, infuriating grin, and vanished into the portal."

Whom does QB owe a tankard of ale?

QB owes Ganoes Paran a tankard of ale. It from TBH after QB has saved his sister and Paran confirms that QB and the 14th can trust Tavore.

Guessing your answer was correct, here's my guess for your quote:
Karsa against that woman/demon he just took from under the rock, who was friendly enough to beat the crap out of his friend?

Hmmm... Deadhouse gates right? I find it rather hard to keep the exact content of the books appart :p

Then it must be the scene where Coltaine's opponent's warleader is a big mean bully who looks a bit like a sewn-together corpse? (at least his mouth was sewn shut and stuff like that?) Can't remember who exactly was the one fighting that abomination though...

Sounds like the mage in dragnipur (can't remember his name but he was one of Pales' mages that did a runner and got caught by Rake) talking to Pearl the demon, he states that various entites appear alongside him and the demon has appeared beside him before, hence 'remember my name, demon' ????????????

I think you're right, Abyss, but I think it might be before that when the demon is in the Toblakai body in the water, before it goes into the Enkaral...

Or Shand? Hejun? [about/to Tehol, and I'm pretty sure it's about Tehol in MT]

Now I think it's all about who got the right name ;)

Found it. It's Shand to Bugg.

Is that from the main series? I cannot recall ever having seen that before, something I have been able to with almost all quotes so far.

Yes, it is.
Spoiler

I'll admit I chose a fairly hard one. I just opened on a random page and picked out something that looked semi-memorable.

Well since the Letherii River is famous for the giant turtles I'd guess it's someone in Lether, Ruhlad Sengar?
