"I wish I could answer you better than I can. I am not sure why I am here, only that I am summoned."
"By whom?"
"By the shore."

Its Twilight and Yedan Derryg [or what's his name] talking when they meet.

Had a hard time remembering, so now eat this:

'Pleased-to-meet-you-see-you-later.'

It#s easy, though.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

I'm guessing one of the High Mages in Felisin's army, talking about Karsa. Febryl?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I think I remember this quote. It's from the scene where Corabb pulls off one of his stunts (his horse crashing into the tent of the cook in the camp of the malazan army). The 'him' in the quote is the cook but I cant remeber who says it other than it is one the malazan soldiers.
'We'll call that a hobby.'

Is it a discussion amongst the Unbound (Faces in the Rock)? It's vague I know but whatever.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

ok, here is the next quote:

"Their gazes locked for a moment longer, then the wizard sighed. 'I owe you a tankard of ale when it's all over.'
'I will hold you to it, Quick.'
The wizard flashed that memorable, infuriating grin, and vanished into the portal."

Whom does QB owe a tankard of ale?
'We'll call that a hobby.'

The most obvious answer would be kalem, but somehow my gut says Fiddler?
