When a man lies he murders
Some part of the world
These are the pale deaths which
Men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear
To witness any longer
Cannot the kingdom of salvation
Take me home

The leader, his audience still,
considered their scholarly will.
He lowered his head
and with anguish he said,
"But how will we teach them to kill?"

Well it seems this breaks MoI record. Although I'm frankly surprised to see that someone actually didn't think of MoI if not as the best, then as one of the best in the MBotF.

5. House of Chains - 1

I can't decide which of HoC and MoI I like the most, but as HoC is last in the list it deserves one point from me. Come on, give Toll the Hounds and House of Chains more points, they deserve it! :D

1. Midnight Tides - 5 (best dialogues from tehol and bugg. oh and brys. what a way to go...)
2. Toll of the Hounds - 4 (favourite ending, deepest book yet I think)
3. Memories of ice - 3 (Seguleh thread did it for me I think...and everything fit so well together too...)
4. Deadhouse Gates- 2 (secretly my first lol. This book I loved. First pust scene, first icarium scene and COLTAINE. not to mention D'ivers gallore!)
5. Reapers gale - (for some reason that weird Mage with a candle warren analogy hits me as most memorable character I ever read...what was his name? :D)

Ofcourse I loved them all to be honest...maybe liked GotM the least...not sure...

2. Midnight Tides - 115 pts
3. Deadhouse Gates - 112 pts

4. The Bonehunters - 82 pts
5. Toll the Hounds - 78 pts
6. Reaper's Gale - 72 pts
7. Gardens of the Moon - 49 pts
8. House of Chains - 41 pts
9. Return of the Crimson Guard - 9 pts

1. Memories of Ice - 5
2. Toll the Hounds - 4
3. Midnight Tides - 3
4. Deadhouse Gates - 2
5. Reaper's Gale -1

Leading to a cumulative total of (based on Salt-Man Z's addition):

1. Memories of Ice - 186 pts
2. Midnight Tides - 118 pts
3. Deadhouse Gates - 114 pts
4. The Bonehunters - 82 pts
(Tie) 4. Toll the Hounds - 82 pts
6. Reaper's Gale - 73 pts
7. Gardens of the Moon - 49 pts
8. House of Chains - 41 pts
9. Return of the Crimson Guard - 9 pts
10. Night of Knives - 4 pts

which gives 758 points, which can't be right because there should be 15 points per person... I went back and tried to find the last time the total was actually divisible by 15... and it was Post 37 (Saltman's)... and then realized that there were ties before that that completely screwed things up. Not to mention some bad addition here and there. With that in mind, I put everything into a new spreadsheet (Saltman's link wasn't working), giving:

New Cumulative Totals
1. Memories of Ice: 184
2. Midnight Tides - 116
3. Deadhouse Gates - 112
4. Toll the Hounds - 83
5. The Bonehunters - 79
6. Reaper's Gale - 72
7. Gardens of the Moon - 49
8. House of Chains - 41
9. Return of the Crimson Guard - 10
10. Night of Knives - 4

The Memories of Ice streak mentioned earlier is no longer. However, some stats:

Highest Standard Deviation: Reaper's Gale and Midnight Tides (both ~1.48)
Lowest Standard Deviation: NoK, RotCG (thanks to very few ratings), otherwise GoTM.

If we did it by number of 1sts, then the order would be:

1. Memories of Ice: 18
2. Midnight Tides - 11
3. Deadhouse Gates - 7
6. Toll the Hounds - 4
6. The Bonehunters - 4
6. Reaper's Gale - 4
8. Gardens of the Moon - 1
8. House of Chains - 1
9. Return of the Crimson Guard - 0
10. Night of Knives - 0

If we did it by number of rankings:
1. Memories of Ice - 47
2. Deadhouse Gates - 39
3. Midnight Tides - 33
4. The Bonehunters - 32
5. Reaper's Gale - 27
6. Toll the Hounds - 26
8. Gardens of the Moon - 21
8. House of Chains - 17
9. Return of the Crimson Guard - 5
10. Night of Knives - 3

I'd attach the .xlsx if I could but I can't. It says I can't upload that file type... and when I change the extension, it says the Administrator would have to enable it. *sighs* PM if you want it.
