I've just reread MoI, after finishing RG, but, still, I can't understand what or who is Cruppe? Do you have any Ideas?

Do you mean Cruppe as in Kruppe? The little fat bloke who drinks in the Pheonix Inn? If so he is the Eel of Darujhistan, and as far as I can tell, a High Mage of some sort. In my estimations he is at least as powerful and wise as Baruk, if not more so. And he's got an elder god as a bed-fellow.
If not, then I dont know.

I would say he is more powerful than Baruk. If not Baruk would have probably figured out who and what Kruppe was by now. He seemed like he finally got suspicious. But, how long had Kruppe worked for him already. Probably years. So, Kruppe is a powerful High Mage to say the least.

I have a sence that he could be more than a High mage....

Also, he manages to side-step all of baruks wards to get in mansion, without tripping a single one or removing them. That must really take some impressive talent.

Um, that's in TTH's isn't it? This is MoI forum.
Kruppe is not a mage or ascendant, but he is an incredibly intelligent mortal. In a small lardy body.

He is a mage, remember he uses his magic to steal cakes in Darujhistan or somesuch.

I thought that was sleight of hand. Clever, intricate, but not magic. Oh, hang on, he must know a bit as he wiped someones memory when they discovered his identity as the Eel, didn't he. Maybe that was misdirection rather than magic though.
I still think he's mainly utilising mortal skills (including hypnosis?) and not anything more than genius of a phenomenal magnitude.
I think SE likes the image of a hyper-intelligent being with food down it's front.

Possibly... I wonder what defines a cantrip. They seem to be the sort of thing Kruppe does... small-scale mind/matter tricks, that don't rely on drawing power from a particular warren, at least not enough to notice, that can be used to occasionally confound those that are far more powerful.
EDIT - AFTER A RE-READ! He does use a Warren a couple of times - one that is negated by the Adjuncts sword at one point. And, in Sorrys/Cots opinion, the cake stealing tricks are using magic. It just never mentions which warren he uses.
The mind trick with Murillio is temporary, but hints at Mockra - so does the way he can lure Raest into his dream-state, in the middle of a battle. Silanah/Crone? sees Raest disappear, but not like entering a warren -something different.

Except without the silly deus ex machina powers that ruined the character. And with food down his front.

Well they both operate with food, but Kruppe will rather use cakes than oranges....

She gave up her name unti she left the Nameless Ones, remember. She hints that to Mappo, by saying that Taralack wasn't a real NO because he hadn't given up his name yet.
