that being said, I want to know exactly why he thought Ruse was scummy.
His actionas are weird, and, altough it's total WIFOM, scum wouldn't want to make random vote hops against already edgy town--that's begging for extra attention.

That's scummy? Huh. I was on the JA train because I didn't see that there was anything productive that we could do on Day 1 without a CF. Hell, I'm not even sure what we can do today that would be useful.

He was in agreement with Silanah that we should lynch someone for information, even though we don't get any information. Not from the lynch, and not - no matter how you read it - from the train. Period. That's why I kept my vote on Silanah Day 1.
