I am wondering if maybe Bent didn't change things up by having the scum kill during the day and not at night. I can't really think of a reason for a Towny to kill off shadow so early into day one. But if he hit to close to a scum that had a day kill then the scum might have taken him out. It would cause more confusion in an already confusing game.
