That sounds like a good plan. I really hate the way weekend breaks drag on. If weekend break normally starts 12:00 GMT so it's only 7 hours or so - they may even get a lynch before that.

Yeah, he's a retard. I told him last night that he was still neutral (i.e. you know before any of the night actions had gone through). I suppose he thought that was his morning wake up call.

Though tbh, nobody has even mentioned it. I think they've all missed it in a cross post or something.

Lol @ the thread. Let me say now - Yellow, this was a really cool setup, the first few days have been fun for me at at least. The game looks like it's teetering on the verge of implosion at this point, which is a pity. Although if the innos manage to get over themselves and pull this back it will be an epic win.

Yellow here, gonna do a bit of a rant.

Venge was telling me how he hates the mass-reveal towards the end of games, and I see his point. Now, I love reveals and fake-reveals/counters, but it seems these days that there's so many themed games that you can't really have fake reveals any more. Reason being that if you're playing a Ghosbusters game, there's no way that you're going to fake-reveal as Venkman, because you know damn fucking well that there will be a real Venkman in the game.

Maybe it would work in the Aliens game (although I totally wasn't swallowing the Aaron bollocks from whoever it was) because there's about 100 recognisable characters.

Maybe in future, at least in any games I mod, there will be no names. Give people roles but not names. If there's no names and someone claims Healer, then shit, maybe they're telling the truth, right? This is the way it goes, and no regrets on this game cos I think it's going well. It might implode at any moment because of the roled inno deaths and Slimer reveal, but fuck it, you can't plan for everything.

Anyway, just a thought. Moar fake-reveals!!!!!

once I actually get to figuring out my bodysnatchers game, I will mae sure to include all possible mechanics on thread.
After the Asylum game, I no longer believe in withholding info and leaving the innos to figure shit ouit--tehy've proven inept at it time and time again.
My new philosophy is that the job of a mod making a set-up is to provide enough possibilities for funky stuff, and inform ht eplayers of it, so that they spend their playing through th eexisting possibilities and having fun, rather that jumping at shadows and falling for fake role reveals.



That's why I like the 17/31 set up so much--now, if only I could be somehting other than a doctor in it...

I definitely, definitely like to keep info on roles secret. I love that aspect in a mid-index game. You tell people there are no Guards, and that prevents people from fake-revealing guard.

mod's job is to create a set-up where both (or all if more than 2) sides have about equal winning chances and have fun.
I don't consider being wtf lost as an inno, while the scum are running around me with all the insider info (like what happened in 28) fun.
Now granted, I honestly thought that the openinf story form 28 was obvious enough (FFS, I SAID "CULT" and "KILLERS" in it), but the innos still managed to fuck it up beautifully.
Now, while it was fun to watch and all, the way the innos practically imploded that game by faking silenced was just fucked up.
