I'm gonna get it soon but I want to know how much I'm spending. I think I'll get it from Borders (Bantam publishing if that means anything), so can anyone help a brotha' out?

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

It depends what country you are in.
On Amazon.co.uk the price of the paperback is £8.57 whilst the hardback is £13, these aren't RRP though.

I paid $24.95 Canadian for mine from McNally Robinson. It was also the same price at Chapters/Indigo.

There was this great deal on Amazon.ca where you could purchase Toll the Hounds and Return of the Crimson Guard for $31. And since I bought the Blade Itself, bumping up the total price to $40, I got free shipping. That deal is still going on, actually... but looking at it now, they've actually knocked the prices down for both of them so that their prices add up to the deal's total.

RotCG: $15.72
UK TtH: $16.98
(Actually, the US TtH is $14.56)

(I realize this isn't terribly helpful to the the author of this thread. Alas.)

Bookdepository.co.uk - free worlwide shipping. I'm in Australia and even with our shit dollar at the moment it is still cheaper than walking into a local Borders or large chain book store. I now only ever use Book Depository for buying my books - they arrive in individual bags (ie you don't have to wait or pay extra shipping if 1 book of the 7 you order is not in stock) and once when a book didn't arrive they sent it again free of charge.

Brilliant and cheap, love 'em!

Great, I live in Australia! Suppose I want to buy from Borders, how much would it be?

Very hard to say, since Borders doesn't appear to have a searchable online catelogue. You could go to a shop and find out yourself... then again, it's not actually released in Australia, as far as I know, so it would be UK imports if they had it at all.

Wait a year for the paperback. You shouldn't be buying horrific hardcovers and their impudent prices anyway.

I tried but couldn't do it. Once I'd discovered this forum there were too many no-go areas so I bit the bullet and got TtH and RotCG in hard back. A few more days of reading and there will be no forum closed to me!

Sign up for the Borders newsletter at: http://reg.cheetahma...496245957&n=100
Each Friday you get an email newsletter including coupons, eg. buy 2 get 1 free, 15% off a dvd, and discounts on books anywhere from 10% to 40% (that I've seen).

So hope the Borders gods are smiling whenever RotCG comes out and they send along a nice, big discount. Just remember that the coupons expire after a week.

Vader's breath, since when was our Aussie dollar 65c?! Last I saw, it was 90c. Then again, it's been a couple months since I watched a newsvid...

Still cheaper to get my comics overseas than head into town.
