I finished tBH about 5 hours ago, and have spent about 3 of the following hours reading through this (tBH) forum. Incidentally this have caused me to read a lot of spoilers. No worries, I'll probably forget them all in about 2 minutes. On a side note I'm terrible at avoiding spoliers. I managed to accidentally read about both Whiskeyjack's death and Tavore killing Felisin several hundred pages before I reached the events in the book. My own fault, but horrible nonetheless.
Anyway...
This seems to be the most appropriate thread to ask my questions in. I'll just throw them out there in the order I remember them in. Keep in mind that I have not read Reapers Gale, nor ICE's novels, so keep it tBH-current please

1) The Jade Statue/Smoke on the Water/Fire In The Sky-event - I just assumed that jade statues crashing into water = otataral (simple chemical reaction)when reading about it. After reading a few threads about it, this still makes the most sense to me.
2) Kalam is now half bleeding to death, half being killed by paralt, but he MAY have gotten into the Deadhouse in time, and will likely return?
3) Where are Trull, Minala, Onrack and the Childrens Crusade actually defending the Shadowthrone? Is this on Drift Avalii or am I confused?
4) There has been a lot of talk about Cartheron and Urko Crust, since I've not read the ICE books I don't know a lot about them aside from them being a part of the Old Guard. Cartheron seems to be in Malaz City (as a fisherman or something), is Urko the hermit who Apsalar, Telorast and Curdle drop in on early in the book?
5) I didn't get the entire Tayschrenn, D'rek thing at the end. Was Tay responsible for killing the entire D'rek priesthood apart from Banaschar? Did he know and apporve? Why did it happen at all? Hellian had apparently stumbled across the truth, but that didn't help me much.
There should have been a lot more questions, but I've forgotten them. My problem is that I'll have to hand in my Masters-thesis in about 7 weeks so I normally only get to read about 15-20 pages each night. Makes it hard to keep up with Erikson at times.
