OK, the plot thickens.
PS didn't answer me directly but he said something that blew my mind: To be culted is to BE Latron.
So, the recruited players lose their powers but Latron GAINS them???
If so, then indeed Mockra could be Latron.
Shit...
remove vote.
Evil New Ruse is possessed, and he's giving us the cult leader, which he of course wants dead too. Hmmmm.

I'm lost, so if someone can ask similar questions to PS and interpret the answers properly, then I'm all ears.
Shit, maybe I AM cult, since I'm edenist. It does say I win when we lynch everyone not in the town faction, but if Latron is edenist I'm lost.

I'll ask PS if he could still do it as cult, but since this is not about MY role mechanics I' don't know if he will answer.
I'll patiently await the info then.
Fuck. I don't like this all one bit. My gut is screaming that desperate Ruse is desperate and we should ignore him. Why is he doing what he is doing? His accusations against Mockra aren't yielding him a single bit of credit.
Something must stop the influx of possessions aside of a cult majority to facilitate a win by town, and it must be more than just Liosan and me remaining alive with 1 other person in the end, then voting that person off, which is the one thing I see as possible. Otherwise, the game would bleed dead and become incredibly boring during the last days, just voting, voting, voting for all the newly possessed hoping that in the process the last cultist is destroyed too. I can't believe DiBs would let his carefully planned game degenerate into that.
Yet right now (and with Ruse coming back, as he says, in Galain... lie, of course, but let's assume its truth), that's exactly what they are steering at.
Now, I think "Ruse" = Rashan, and for the Ivets, coming back as a possessor is the sole thing that allows them to win in one form or another. It is they that need this opportunity, since dead town and dead cult win when their factions on 'Earth' win. There must be a way to end the possessions.
Also, Galain, Ruse is screaming about being able to possess you. You said yourself you were safe from that a while ago, because you'd blow up. Did that change?
So, what do you think of the above?

The cult is the Cult of Laton.
He's their leader, and they worship him or something, and he's able to see through their eyes, see the opening story. He's some sort of telepath bastard who can communicate with and through his associates, I think.

Oh fuck that you bastard. Answer me one question: are you Ione?
cause Ione is
Quote
The current "Lord of Ruin." A sensuous young woman, the first female Lord descended from Michael Saldana. Saldana’s are a super-genetic family line with a 200 year life expectancy, very high IQ, and much internal strengthening. She wants Joshua to make her pregnant, much to his shock. She highly suspects Joshua has psychic abilities as evidenced by his uncanny ability to make the greatest discoveries with the Ruin Ring. She thinks this kind of extrasensory ability would make a perfect genetic contribution to the Saldana lineage. Ione’s reason for the long continued research on the Laymil is that they were very similar to humans in many respects. Whatever happened to them could also happen to humans, so it is a matter of importance to discover what caused their destruction. She speculates that the Laymil were destroyed either by something they discovered for themselves which caused them to commit mass suicide or because something discover them and destroyed them.

So, an Edenist, but not a bad edenist. Laton is:
Quote
A "Serpent" - an evil Edenist. About 1% of Edenists are serpents, but Laton surpasses them all in terms of fear generated within the Confederation. He caused the greatest single catastrophy in the history of Edenism when his experiments resulted in a rupture of the habitat Jantrit. From there he escaped to the then uninhabitated planet of Lalonde where his experiments on human immortality continued in secret until his discovery by Quinn Dexter. Fearing the devil worshippers will attract too much attention to the region, Laton cleverly arranges for the people of Abderdale to turn on the Ivets by mutilating a small boy and making it appear as if the Ivets were responsible. The plan succeeds to the extent that the locals all turn on the Ivets and begin killing them. It ultimately fails, however, when Laton falls into possession as a result of the reality dysfunction. His possessor travels to Pernik on the planet Atlantis. There Laton agains displays great cleverness in possessing his possessor and actually takes over the Pernik Habitat Personality. This places him in the position to save Syrinx from torture by the possessed and, in a final act of surprising heroism, destroys the Pernik personality (and himself) in order to allow Syrinx and the crew of Oneone to escape.

So, what do you think of the above?
I don't know about the dying part. Originally when I asked I was told we would "lose contact". Then after you revealed that we die when possessed I asked again and the answer was "AFAIK you die". I don't know if it still applies now that I'm alone, but honestly if you can't spot if I have been possessed I failed this game

As for "the above", I don't think Ruse blew up to distract us from our plan. I did make a pretty good catch on him, I don't think he planned it but then again maybe it's just my ego. He freaked out when he realized he was "outed" and got pissed at my lack of life

All I can confirm right now is that I got a message with the same wording as what Mockra posted in his post. I still can't confirm it comes, or ever came, from him though.
But if Mockra is still clean, then we can't really lynch Emur yet.
What bugs me is that he keeps refusing to tell me (or us) who he investigated in night 1, like he doesn't know. Also, he can only confirm "not Latron", not "not cult recruiter" if there is a backup.
