Haha, I was just about to bring that up. Maybe not through the roof, but second highest without saying anything memorable is slightly suspicious. Let's think. He's been helpful, agreed with most stuff that's been said and given some book clarifications every now and again. Not my biggest suspect, but worth looking at.

So thats good work, one Ivet to go. So in theory tonight we should have at most 1 NK? And any more would be an indication of Posession?

It's true that the cult would have no intention to be in the trailing posters considering our history in lynching them out of spite, and would have no reason to stick their necks out for or against anyone.

Specially considering that the pressure has been mostly on killers until now. Omtose would fill the bill, but it's coming a little out of nowhere.

If possession happens, we won't see it as a death. We won't realize it at all, I believe, unless we can spot a change in player's attitude.

Aye, it is, but now is also a good time to look at others with an open mind, unclouded by thoughts of Rashan. So, I decided to open this approach, and Omtose stood out amongst the high posters in that I could not find a point in time where he pressed for something or other, like the other high posters.

I agree, I was also going to bring him up soon, but was waiting for Rashan's CF. So I think he's worth looking at. I also think Meanas and Gam should be looked at again, as well as the middle to lowish poster that havent given much by way of content. Everyone in the 20-40 posts region has been cruising (including PS, but we know for a fact he's evil

I might be wrong, but I think it's quite clear that those that do the possessing and jump into our alts are the players who are already dead, i.e. they will disappear from spoiler heaven to come here with us. We won't realize since we can't monitor SH activity.

I'm pretty sure they'll just chill in whichever alt they took over, until they get killed or hit by the decoder role (if there is one. It was mentioned in the rules, so I assume there is) So no FM-style alt jumping methinks. They're FM in the sense that they take over someone else's alt without us being informed, so we have to look for changes in playstyle.

I think those in the beyond know who is possessed and which (dead) alt is doing the possession, since they have to vote to decide who goes back. Since depossession can take place, I think whoever is possessed is simply locked out of their alt, unable to post anywhere, sortof like a person who no longer has control of their body. Once they are depossessed they gain access to their alt again and the possessor returns to the beyond.

Yeah thats the impression I got, once dead you may get the chance to possess someone, I.E take over thier alt and noone down here would know, unless we spot a marked difference in posting style, So i'd think that would be how the dead will decide who comes back by who has the most similar posting style to someone down here.

@ Ruse that seems likely actually, I had just assumed that the person possessed died when they got possessed but your idea makes more sense if their is an exorcist around.

Also you all keep mentioning a decoder in the roles list? where exactly I can't spot it, there just seems to be lover,healer,guard,killer,finder and teacher that i can see.
