Its better than the emurlahn one at least.
you'd have said the same thing about the Ruse avatar though ... :ermm:

Don't be silly, it wasn't half as obvious on the Ruse ;) I didn't notice it for ages and ages on Ruse ;) But Omtose, you couldn't miss it. ;)

doing the check-in thing

won't be around much today, alas

game is based on volume 1 of Peter F. Hamilton's "Night's Dawn" trilogy.
Ivets are convicts from earth who are essentially slaves of the colonists.
among them there is Quinn--a follower of the sect of "God's brother", and a thoroughly unpleasant individual. My assumption would be he's a Cult leader.

ignoring the posession aspect (that can't really come into play untill some people are actually dead, I think), we have a town vs. scum vs. cult-type game.
with 22 players, at least 6 will likely be scum

that is all I can think of for now

oh, and
vote Rashan

someone has to welcome in a new alt with a vote!

This post puts me on edge a little. Probably because it borders on the type of RD that is usually assiociated with scum. Its not enough reason to move my random vote in favour of a genuine Omtose vote, but IGMEOY Omtose.

Why single Anomandaris out for something that everyone who had placed a vote so far is guilty of? A 'jokey' reason on page one... the horror. Much more sinister is someone who appears to be trying to fit a genuine reason to a vote on page two.

For this I will change my vote.

Remove vote. Vote Rashan

edit: left the n off the end of Rashan.

Telas: For someone who dislikes creating reasons to vote on Day One and calls it a scum tactic, you sure are up to a lot of it.

Ah, I like it, not that you have your eye on me, thats somewhat creepy, but the acronym itself.
And the vote I ignore, my vote is clearly a joke

He appeared to be trying to make a nothing reason into a genuine reason. He also singled one person out for something that can be applied to a number of people. I did neither of these things.

My reason to vote may not have been a strong one, but I feel it was a genuine reason. Agreed it is still early and time will tell whether my suspicions of Rashan will stick.

:ermm: I suppose at least you defended yourself. And its only day one so we are allowed to all make a silly mistake or two. ;) Im tempted to leave my vote on you, because Im lazy, but I suppose that's not very nice.

Actually, his eye is on Omtose.

And I do see his point about you

edit: That would be AIDSHPAY

On a serious note:

22 players registered for the game and 22 alts are in the game. Whatever the "possessed" thing is, whoever goes to heaven level 1 and can come back later starts the game playing with us.

What do you think the possessed "trigger" thing means? My hypothesis:

We die and go to heaven, like normally. But there could be a player or a group of players that can "bring back" those who died and assign them an alt, and those players come back and play for their (i.e. the possessed) team with whatever extra information they gathered in heaven.

Makes sense?

So in a sense the possessed would be a cult, but they wouldn't recruit the living players, but the dead ones to come back and play.

Oh, I just saw this:

12 - The beyond is where the people lynched or subject to a night kill go. Once a player has died they may return if chosen from the ranks of the beyond.

I guess it makes sense, then.

thats the way i saw it. Is there perhaps 2 spoilers heavens?
One for the dead, and one for the mods?

Dibs says that we shouldnt send in any potential team spoilers to him in case he "posts it by mistake"

yea just checked...he says our night actions will be posted in the "beyond"...
Thats were all the dead players are more than likely going to go to...not to spoilers it would seem.

The only part that doesn't fit is this:

4 - The cult are not the possessed.

It's true if the possessed are not the ones choosing to come back and possess, in taht sense the cult is the "possessors" or whoever choses the players that come back.

But then are those players playing for the "possessors"? They must, otherwise what's the point of bringing back anyone?

So, 2 Spoiler Heavens. One normal, one "Beyond". Seems a bit like a kind of time-travel, terminator type scenario. They find out what night action is being used and can send someone back to do something about it, I wonder?
