Okay, who else thinks we should support Caine getting to the end of the suvudu cage match battle? Just so we can see write ups from Stover?

I fucking LOVED his write up against Paks.

You have my sword.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

I think I may finally start BLADE OF TYSHALLE this week.

:p

That write up got me pumped to catch up with the series.

On a scale from one to ten, how well do you rate the packaging? I put mine at 8. 10 would survive a nuclear war and this thing was almost that shielded from harm.

Saltman-Z, you are awesome.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Maybe not a nuke, but I could certainly have left it out in the snow for a couple of weeks

Anyone know why Stover's site is totally down right now?

I tried to go on today and it errors out.

Anyone?

Yeah, his site's been missing for a couple of months, as is (I believe) his Twitter account. Someone asked about it over on the Overworld forums last month, and the response was along the lines that something is in the works. We'll see...

Morgoth, last year I actually had the post office leave a book I ordered on my front step in the snow while I was out of town for the entire weekend, and when I got back it was pretty badly water damaged (and it was a gift!) so now I definitely try to waterproof any books I ship.

Friggin awesome. It's not Caine vs. XXX, it's Caine vs. fucking Suvudu!

And he quoted a line from one of the best songs in the world! (no, I did not squeal like a little girl on a rocking horse).

Just read that.
FUCKING perfect.

Seriously, can we get Team Quick Ben in on this - I want a Caine win with multiple Stover write ups.
Make it so!

I don't know if this is me, but I took a look at the preview Amazon offers and it gave me at least 80 some pages to go through at different points in the book.

I read the first chunk that was all continuous and then briefly scanned through some of the rest. At some point, I was like "Motherfucking mother of gods, this is too much. Take this the fuck back and wait until it's available for sale before you fuckin' blow my brain like this!"
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Yeah, the Look Inside feature generally lets you preview the majority of the book, with the occasional section of chapter left missing, and usually the ending is omitted too. I read the Caine's Law "prologue" (I guess you would call it) but as soon as I saw the "pages 10-12 are not included in this preview" I was content to stop.

Three weeks from today; I can hardly wait.
