So this week marks the next few days in the impressive line-up of fall releases. Gears 2 is coming out and I am really looking forward to this, though I'll have to split time between Fallout and Gears.
I'm a big fan of the online play in this game, and it should be even better with all the new additions. I think we should get a 4 on 4, 5 on 5 of forum members going if enough people have live.

I'd be up for it, but haven't been on live in ages. Besides, I'm doing exams atm. :p

The thing is, Gears 2 is a short buzz - it is, after all, only a linear shooter. Fallout 3 will take up heaps of my time once I'm free.

If you can get a date some time in December, I'd be around, though. :p (I know you'll all want to play sooner than that, ofc, don't worry about me)

I'll be up for it. But I'll have to wait a week to buy because of being monthly paid. :p

Also, I talk alot of shit when I'm playing. Typical aussie I know ... but will it bother you guys? I also swear alot.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Ok, it seems the general plan is to wait at least a week which is good for me too, hopefully the mail goes fast. :p We have 5 now counting Silencer, but he is out til December. So we could easily get a team going or rock the new horde mode.

My Gamertag is CrusadingKiller.

Why not do both? :p

Not like any of us are just going to play one day.

As far as time goes, I know a lot of you are on the other side of the freakin world so we'll have to time it carefully.

Oh, and Trouble...you're on....bitch :p

Yea, or both works fine with me as well.

Of course, you also bring up the hard part of the idea, time zone differences. We have plenty of time to work something out, but it seems like we would need a weekend. I am sure most people won't want to game til very early on a work/school night.

As for me I'm free either around 11-noon till about 3 on weekdays and after 9 pm. So that's like mid day and late night ffor most of you across the pond...except for you aussies I have no idea when that is (like yesterday or tomorrow or some such shit), but you're all backwards over there anyways so you'll figure it out.

Double Post: ah whatever:

@ Drinks- you said that you almost beat/ did beat the campaign. How long is it, and what did you play on? Hardcore?

@Trouble- Your GMT+8 and in the States where I am is GMT-5, so you guys are 13 hours ahead I believe.

So when we decide to play, the people in Australia and America will have to take the hit by staying up late/getting up early respectively.

just finished the campaign on hardcore, but i played through gears on solo insane so it aint that hard in comparison, took long enough, was suitably epic in proportion. certainly enjoyed it, got it for 29 out of sainsburies so sweet. the multiplayer is awesome, horde is great

Good to hear, Dibs ;)

I'm GMT +13, but if it's after Nov 21st (but not the 29-3 of Dec), then I'm free most of the time. Plus I just got a broadband upgrade, now I have 6GB!!!!!!! Wewt. ;)

So....anyone who's played both Fallout 3 and GoW2...what's the verdict? Which is more fun?

And my gamertag is Silencer006, btw.
